Good  Morning Lisa -
My weekend has been completely consumed by work but I'm not complaining since it's few and far between these days.  End of month is alway a very busy time at work.  Outback is going very well.  I really like it and everyone is so willing to help.  It's great!

I have nothing else going on.  I wish I could have made it to Dawn's yesterday.

Hello everyone

I'm at work this morning.  I work all weekend to help try to catch our department up.  We converted over to a new system back in July and since then it has been one big problem after another and now we are so far behind it will be a miracle if we ever catch up.  We have brought on 3 temps and recruited about a dozen people to help out this weekend. Hopefully we put a dent in the mountain of work.

I want to start exercising but I am just so tired all of the time.  I can't do it before work because I get to work at 6 and I wake up at 4:30am.  No time to work our before work (and I can't wake up any earlier) and after work I'm just too tired.  I have no energy.  I could come home some days and go right to bed.  I know I should exercise its just getting the energy to do it.  Stay tuned for more complaining (hahaha).

Have a nice Sunday.

Good morning friends!

My plans for today include cleaning in the basement. In order to tackle a job like this I have to set limits or I would never start, so two storage shelves totally cleaned out and reorganized is my limit and then I'm done. Next weekend I'll do two more. This is how I force myself to do icky jobs.

Later I'll have both reading and knitting to do which I look forward to. I almost finished a sock last night and got a good start on a sweater.

Have a great day!

Hi Lisa and my friends in Illinois.

I've been busy this weekend and this morning. Got up and exercised. YAY!!!! I got 15 minuted done on the Gazelle rider  Then I went to Jewel's for some grocery shopping. Found some good protein sources for me as well.

Yesterday I had a cup of chicken soup at Max & Erma's. Tasted great and went down just fine. I tried some vegetarian chili - it was good but I had a bit too much, as I had some radishes just before the chili. Well, I had a  episode and then I felt better. I really wanted to eat something crunchy but should have waited for a while for the radishes to work down through the band. I'm learning though, and that's what counts!

Today I am having a protein drink for breakfast that gives me 20 grams of protein and goes down with no problem. Lunch, not sure yet... but I do know that I have to eat very small portions. The Lucy of 2006 is back to stay!! I'm working my tools to get me there and there to stay.

I lost 3.8 pounds in one day and found that out when I went to weigh****chers yesterday. I wore the same clothes and didn't eat or drink anything, just the same when I weighed in at Guske's on Friday. I was on liquids though all day. So my tools work; I have to do my part and work them.

I am going to tackle one thing at a time, starting with healthful eating and exercising. That is my key to success and weight loss maintenance.

I'm going to my sister's this afternoon and my mom is coming over for a visit.

I've decorated my house for Halloween already. I love Halloween and holidays. As you can see, I am not depressed anymore, and the best part is that I stopped taking Cymbalta. I don't think I need it anymore.

I've got so much to look forward to, the holidays and the coming  year. This gal is going to shake some booty in 2009!!

Christina, I am so glad that you like your job. It sure helps!

Everyone, I hope to see you soon at one of our gatherings.

Is anyone going to the Walk from Obesity?? I think it is this coming Saturday.

Have a wonderful Sunday, even though it is cloudy now.

Hugs and Love,
Lucy

Good morning Lisa and Illinois!

I finished my book yesterday and may start another. Today we are going to clean the carpets. I'm going to start dinner in the crockpot shortly so that after the carpets are done we will go out and shop and come home to a cooked dinner.

Have a great day everyone!

Watching the news/political programs this morning.  Will fill out some forms for the interview tomorrow.  I am going to need the extra money to buy smaller clothes.  Will likely watch Da Bears, I Cares, Dats Who, Miss Chris.

Good morning everyone. How was the die dye party yesterday? Dave and I had a great time at our friend's b-day party here in Loves Park. We leave here in about an hour and return to Itasca. Have a few things to do at home before we walk over to the Lion's Spaghetti dinner at the park district.

I see that I posted at the same time that Lisa did this morning. We had really slow internet access at the Holiday Inn Express and did not open another internet window to see if there was a roll call before I processed my message.

Anyways, we are back home and I have been futzing around the house before we go for lunch. I have hung my new Indian corn on the front door and put out some new Halloweenie deco's on the tables that I bought yesterday.

Need to get moving and do more in the house before we leave.

I have been getting the Holloween decorations out. Went yesterday and bought 3 new scarecrows to put out in my mum beds one for each of the grandkids. The other 2 I had rotted. I also got some neat table decor for the house the granddaughter just loves the holloween things. She gets excited when we go to Wally World and she sees all the stuff. She 20 months old and just a fun baby!

Today making chili, and getting the house cleaned before Thursday. I will be going to Downers Grove to see my favorite doc and staff. Then support group in the eve. I was thinking of staying until Sat just to get away.

Then on Sun I am going on Spoonriver Drive. Great place to get decorations for all seasons at a great price. It goes on for 2 weekends, the first 2  weekends of  Oct. Grat way to get in a lot of walking and not even realize you've went that far. Theres alot of things going on and its a lot of fun!

I am going through all my closets and dressers to see what I have as far as winter clothing. I don't have much that fits any more!

My coat don't fit any longer either. Its a 3 x I am going to see if my aunt would want it because I wore it maybe 4 times since it was kinda tight when I bought it!!!

Happy late Birthday Nancy! Hope you had a great day!

Christina I am so glad that your new job is working out for you.

Christine and Dave you two have more fun then anyone I know.
Ok enough  gotta get back to work!

no kids=fun and freedom with the emphasis on the freedom part.

Karen, what size jeans are you in now? I was sorting out a bunch in my closet and I have a bunch of size 12's that I was going to bring to the clothing exchange at LWB. I have a couple pair of Dockers also. Some of them I just do not like the cut on or where they fit me on my body. I got all of them at resale shops so I did not really spend that much on them. I you cannot wear them right now then maybe you can just take one or two in anticipation of wearing them later on.
