Hey Girl -
You're doing great.  For me, by about the 3rd or 4th day.. the head hunger was starting to subside.  I was really surprised, after the first few days it seemed pretty easy for me.  As you know, everyone handles things differently.  I tried to focus on the end result.  If I get thru these 14 days I get to have my surgery that is going to change my life forever.  It was like a reward to me.  It was a big mental game for me.  You can do it and are doing it!  You have jumped thru so many hoops to get this far, don't mess it up by "cheating".  It's not worth it.

Keep up the great work.

The SF popcicles were my lifesaver! I would take a couple of the crush them in a cup and eat it slowly. I also got some real small ice cubes and chewed on then. If it was the food flavor I needed I would have some hot broth. I even too my favorite  brothy soup heat it up strained it and drank that.  Just keep your eye on Oct 7th and you will make it!

I didn't have to do a pre-op diet, but I can understand your pain as I spent my life before my DS dieting!

When 5 or 6:00 hits, do you think you can do something like go for a walk, get away from things that make you think about food (TV, etc.)?

Hang in there, honey. Good luck on your surgery!
