Friday Roll Call

Well we've made it to the end of the week!  Milwaukee is finally finished and I'm back in town for a while.  I haven't lost any weight this week but I'm hanging in there.  I figure with all the work we did on the driveway, I've probably traded some fat for muscle.  But still, I want the scale to move.  I'm looking forward to the tie-dye party tomorrow and to getting stuff done around the house.  Have a great weekend everybody!  Paul

Hey Paul, morning to you and the rest of IL.

How do your clothes fit now? Are they getting looser? If they are you are loosing circumference, that was always a good feeling for me.

Work here in a short while for me then I come home and I have been making some photo layouts in Adobe to put some of my scanned family pics in to display in the living room.

We will be near but far away on Saturday to Dawn's. We will be in Loves Park with a former co-worker at her house for a b-day party. Wave when you pass the Holiday Inn Express at the Riverside Dr exit from I90. We will stay the night there. Sunday the Lions Club in Itasca is having a Spaghetti dinner. Don't worry they have more things than pasta. Good protein to choose. It is just fun to be with neighbors and friends to socialize.

Happy Friday everyone 

I don't know why I'm so happy its Friday I still have to come in Saturday and Sunday for work this week.  Oh well I will get lots of overtime.  Today we are throwing a co-worker a baby shower.  There will be all kinds of food.  I have decided I'm going to treat myself a little but not over do it.  So I hope I can say no to all of the yummy food. 

I tried eating a salad yesterday and I liked it.  I know it sounds dumb but I haven't eaten a salad in all of my adult life.  So its a big deal.  My daughter (who's a vegetarian) is very excited that I'm trying to change my eating habits. I told her this isn't a diet, its a life style change.  The better I do now the better I will do after surgery.  At least thats what I'm told. 

Everyone enjoy the weekend and those of you going to the tie-dye party I'm sorry I will miss the opportunity to meet you all in person.

It's Friday!  though honestly in my life lately all the days feel the same to me!  lol   I really need a job I guess...LOL

Today I have to run to the store and get some basics we need, bread, milk, eggs and guenia pig bedding!!  Then I have to run to the unemployment office and drop off some paperwork they want and then it's home to study for my finals and sign up for the medical assistant program I have decided to go for!

Tonight's Varsity football game is away, so Tyler doesn't have to go, but tomrrow we have a game for Tyler at 11am at Wheaton North.  It will be Tyler's first game as a starting lineman!  I am SO proud of how far he's come with football.  The rest of the weekend, nothing really planned. 

Did anyone watch ER last night by chance??

Yep, I watched it......stayed up past my bedtime to fini**** too!

I cried like it was someone I really knew.......darn hormones!

I thought it was really good, and it seems that they set it up for Abby to leave next week....

Oh good, I am so glad that I am not the only one who cried like a baby!  I got started when they showed him and the lone tear streaming down his face!!  it was horrible.  I knew that Abby is leaving, but not sure if it will be next week already or sometime in the season. I can't believe that it's finally coming to an end after 15 years!  I have been watching it the whole time.  lol

I watched it, and cried like a baby.  Like the old ER shows when I used to cry at the end of almost all of them.  I figured this last season would be heart tugging.  Now Carter is coming back and Anthony Edwards ( Dr greene) is coming back for flash backs.  It will be a great last season and I will miss it!

oh I loved Dr Green and when he died, boy did I cry then too!  lol  I'm glad that Carter will be back too, I liked him on the show.  It will be an interesting season that's for sure

Yes, it's Friday and just as it is said, TGIF!!!

Today I have an appointment to see my surgeon, Dr. Guske in Elk Grove Village. Actually this morning. I think I will be having another fill. It's liquids for me today and that's fine with me.

I'll be visiting my Mom and sister this weekend. I haven't seen my Mom since the first weekend in September.

Paul, I bet that scale will move down big time soon! Hang in there. You've done so well.

I'm so busy at work, so gotta go. Have a wonderful Friday everyone.

Good Morning.
I am off and this morning. I had a small wow moment this morning. A blouse I bought in late May is kinda loose on me this morning. Not huge, but loose. It will be way to big by next spring.

Monica, I watched ER last night. I have a feeling all of the regulars will be leaving over this season.

Paul, you won't lose weight every week. Some weeks your boby will play catchup, and it won't move. Other times, the body gets smaller, and your weight stays the same. It will even out.

My day is going to be work at special sites. We go to the high rises and help fill out the liheap applications for residents.
