Good Morning Paul. Hey! Life sometimes interferes with our diet. Today is a new day, it will get better. Corporate screwups seem to be the norm this week. My neighbor came home Monday to find her gas turned off. It would still be bad if she hadn't paid it, but the gal has credit on her gas account! Nicor turned off the wrong house!  Then they couldn't return and turn it back on until yesterday. They did give her a $50. credit for her inconvenience.

Eat as well as you can.

Hugs

Good morning!

The plateau busters plan is working, I'm losing again and have knocked off the pounds that seem to go up and down! Next focus is getting to 100 # loss as soon as possible. Not going to be unrealistic though--it will come at the right time. Eating  only three oz of protein 5X a day is interesting in that I'm not hungry at all. The absence of carbs seems to be making the difference. Any carbs seems to make me very hungry so I need to take a serious look at even the healthy carbs I've been eating. Always a new lesson to learn!

Have a good day!

Hi Connie-if you're ever down in the DuPage area, I found a shop in Wheaton called "Nothing But
Knitting".  Sounds like your kind of shop!  Have a great day-glad the scale is moving again.  Big Hugs-Janet K

Thanks, Janet. I don't get that direction very often, but if I have a business meeting around there I will check it out.

Is this the right one?

This is a plateau busting diet incase any one would like to try it...
#1 - Do this for 10 days to break a plateau
#2 - Drink 2 quarts of water a day
#3 - You must have 45 grams of protein supplement and all your vitamins/minerals supplements each day (some suggest at least 60 and up to 80 gr)
#4 - You may consume up to 3 oz of the following high protein foods, 5x a
day.

beef
pork
chicken
turkey
lamb
fish
eggs
low fat cheese
cottage cheese
plain yogurt or artificially sweetened (?)
peanut butter
beans/legumes
You may also have:
sugar free popsicles
tea or coffee (decaf only)
sugar free jello
broths/bullion (sp?)
crystal light drinks

#5 - If it's not on the list, you can't have it for 10 days!!!!
#6 - Keep a food diary and try to get up to 30 mins of exercise daily
