Tuesday Roll Call
Karen
Paul, please have a safe trip and congrats on the daddy-daughter day. Each one is special.
We went to the Freshman game last night and watched David play most of it. I finally got to see him actually play and he was not too bad, but I can see where he needs improvement also.
Due to his game, the family did not get to eat dinner until 8:30 pm or so. I made some pork tenderloins that were seasoned with fresh herbs from my garden. I had a couple of slices and it was very good. I've brought a few slices with me for lunch today.
Speaking of fresh herbs........is anyone who is coming on Saturday interested in some? I have Basil, oregano, rosemary and thyme. If you would like some, and let me know ahead of time, I will clip some and bag it up for you. If not, you will have to clip some yourself when you are here.
Tonight, the kids each have practices then I think they want to go to Taco Tuesday downtown. It is $ 1.00 per taco or $ 5.00 for all you can eat (above 5). It is a pretty cheap way to feed them and go out at the same time. I am the cheapest date......I usually cost $ 1.00 for a plate with beans, meat, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes and olives. I might go with them tonight, or I might spend the evening with my aunt......I have not decided yet.
I plan on walking at lunch time to make the most of this weather before the shovelling begins.
Everyone enjoy your day!
Good Morning to my IL family
Paul, be safe on your trip today and the daddy daughter day sounds wonderful. I can tell you that even though Meredith is still little those are the days that she will remember! I remember the daddy daughter days I had with my dad out in his workshop building things with him!
Today I have to run a few errands and then study study study. My final exams are coming up and I am so afraid that I won't pass them. It's been a rough and long year for me and right now it doesn't look like it's getting any better. I know that finding a job can take a while, but I have never had a problem getting one pretty quick since my very first one at age 15. This is killing me. I hate that places don't even call you and tell you that they hated you and don't want to hire you! LOL
Anyway, I hope that everyone has a wonderful day and enjoys the sun!
What are you going to school for? Where are you going to school? Something in the Veternarian field I would guess, since that is where you have been interviewing. My daughter almost went to school to be a veterinarian. She even went to spend a day at a clinic in Oswego, as part of a mentoring program at school. But she decided she would rather study Environmental Science, so she can, as she put it "dig in the dirt for a living" hahaha, she's funny.
I'm sure something will work out and you will find the job of your dreams. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. Good luck.

I am actually wondering if I should switch and go into the nursing field for humans..lol seems there's a lot more opportunities out there for that.
LOL @ your daughter, "digging in the dirt for a living" that's great!
Finally got here in the morning! They are so busy here trying to get Noah out the door for school and then get in meds, breakfast, shower etc,,,, I usually cant get on so early.
Another beautiful day! Hurray. Today is shopping for things to dye for Dawn's party! Cant wait, it sounds like so much fun. Noah and Jeff are going camping with the Boy scouts so it is a girl's day out. Thanks Dawn for having us out!
Paul, have a safe trip!
Monica, the right job will come, I know it is a cliche but everything happens for a reason. We dont always understand the reason at first but then it becomes clear and we have those :A HA" moments.
Lucy, enjoy the sunshine! It will help your cold get better and help with staying positive. Remember you are a good, fun person, keep smiling and remember all the fun you had on your cruise!
I hope everyone has a great day!

Drinking Sage tea this morning and need to make some sage moves as I do three tasks so I have to run

I'm finally back online. We have moved to the Morris area. It must be the time for job hunting, I'min the same boat and not having any luck as well. I guess I should be happy I'm not working right now with the move and trying to get the house in order, but my unemployment ran out and the money will be getting tight fast. I'm glad to see everyone doing good. I sure have missed reading the posts from everyone, even though I don't post much myself, I still enjoy reading about how everyone is doing. Paul I hope you had a safe trip to St. Louis! Anyhow I hope you all have a great day!!!!
