Good Morning!  I'm off to St. Louis for the day, but I'll be back this afternoon.  I had to work from home yesterday and take care of Meredith.  It was a wonderful daddy daughter experience.  Unfortunately, it does tax the work day.  But they'll live!  Have a great day!  Paul

Good Morning Paul and the rest of the Illinois board.
Have a good trip, and I wish I could be with you. Don't get me wrong, I love the Chicago area, but St. Louis is home. I was born and bred there and never really thought I would live anywhere else, but......... love and marriage and 43 years later(almost).....................

We were super slow at work yesterday, I hope I can say the same for today, but I know better. I am sure to have a full client count of between 20 to 30 appointments.

It looks to be a nice day today, enjoy it.

Hugs

Good morning Paul and Illinois!

Well, the best laid plans yesterday went south really fast.  I got into my car to go to work and my key would not go into the ignition!   I had driven my car 3 times on Sunday and no problems.  I thought I was going crazy.  Went back into the house and called the dealer.  The solution?  Tow my car 18 miles to the dealer for servicing.  By the time the tow truck got here, my car on their flat bed, got to the dealer, checked my car in, signed papers for my loaner car and drove back to Peru for work I was 3 hours late!  What a great way to start the week.  It turns out it was a broken ignition switch which they have ordered the part for.  Hopefully I get my car back today.  But I do have a snazzy Grand Prix to drive.  I drove those all the time until my arthritis finally said "Hey it is too hard to get in and out of these things,"

Today has to be better.

Paul have a good trip to St Louis.  Lisa, I cant believe that you have not been busy.  That is unusual.  Of course the bills have not started coming yet.

Have a good day.

Good morning!

It looks like another beautiful day. I am trying to wear my good summer jackets while I can because winter will be here soon enough! I do love the crispness at night!

Day one of plateau busters was easy. I know they all won't be but the knitting helps to distract me.

Good morning Paul and fellow friends.

I got up late today as I am not feeling well. I sure hope I'm not back in the cold mold again. Not much going on for me, just trying to get my head on straight. I've got an appointment with my doc on Friday and hope to get another fill. It's not holding for me.

Be safe on the roads Paul.

Good morning Paul and Illinois!

Have a safe trip to St. Louis!

I went to a Lia Sophia Jewelry demonstration last night. After looking at their products online I didn't think I would like any of it. Seeing the jewelry in person was quite a different story. I'm thinking of having a demonstration. The jewelry was very pretty. This coming from someone who doesn't wear a lot of different jewelry. Their catalog doesn't do the pieces justice. The other thing I liked is that if it breaks it has a lifetime guarantee.

I hope everyone has a great day!

I have a friend that sells it.  Yes it  is very pretty.  I too don't wear much jewelry but now that I feel like a person instead of a blimp I find my self buying more makeup, jewelry and shoes....I know the 3 together are a strange addiction but
at least it isn't food!
