eating problem

I just had my lap band surgery on september 5,2008 however I have notice I can eat what ever I want so far I have lost 18 pound my concern is that I don't have restriction so far or what is going on any one experience this I am so afraid one of my friend had told me after surgery there is no restriction till you get your first fill please help

Sorry, your friend is right. Your doctor may have given you a mini fill at the time, but you won't get any restriction for at least 2 fills. I really didn't get any until the 4th fill.
You were just banded. You should be on the post op diet for the next couple of weeks yet.
good luck, you will get restriction, and really, 18 lbs is really good.

Lisa's right it takes a few fills to get restriction. So be patient it will come. Good weight loss already though!

18 pounds in less than a month is great! Just continue to watch your portion size and do what your doctor tells you. Restriction will come.
