Poll--Tie Dye Party time
Hi guys!
It looks like we are going to have a pretty big turn out for the tie dye party on Saturday.
I have told friends and neighbors a start time of 3:30 pm.
For those of you traveling to Rock City from far away, would a earlier start time be helpful?
Would it be better for those of you traveling if we had a start time of 12:30-1:00 pm? I have no problem doing two sessions, and it may be less confusing.
Let me know your thoughts on this so I can make plans.

We can come either time. If you are having 2 sessions whichever is easier it ok with me. Brigid will sleep in the car either way, so an early nap or a late nap is ok. Noah and Jeff will be camping with the boy scouts so it is a girls weekend.
We are excited to come and make some cool stuff. Tomorrow we will be going to find some stuff to dye, I was thinking Michaels or JoAnn fabrics would be a good place to go to get things.
I want to make matching tshirts for a trip we are taking in December to Disney.

I'm not sure what is close to where you live, but CVS sometimes has 100% cotton T-Shirts on sale for $3-$5 each. I'm not sure about the fabric places, but Michael's might be good too......
I try to shop resale, but again, I don't know what is close to you and you have to have the time to pick through it all.
If you get something new, make sure to wash them first to remove the sizing and other chemicals that could inhibit dye absorbtion. Just wash in detergent, no fabric softener.
This is going to be so much fun!!!!

Hi Dawn, Linda and I would like to come early if you have enough that want that time, if not 3:30 is ok too, let me know,
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

Later on, both my kids have invited friends and the neighbors will be over and it might get really busy.
You are welcome to stay as long as you'd like, but this way, if you need to drive back to the city, you will have time.
I spent all of Saturday scouring garage sales and resale shops and have a whole laundry basket full of stuff to dye and I don't think I spent more than $ 20! Gotta love that!
SO.......bring your dyables, and a snack to share and we will be set. I will have crystal ligh****er and iced tea available. If you prefer other beverages, please bring them along too!
The weather is supposed to be beautiful again.......keep your fingers crossed that it stays that way!

Brgid and I will come around 12:30 too, this sounds like a perfect time.
We are off today in search of cool things to dye. We are going to try some resale shops around here as well as CVS, ( right on the corner!) and maybe Michaels etc... I am looking forward to it! Should be a nice day!!!
