Monday Roll Call
Good morning friends!
It still looks like summer here and it's supposed to get to almost 80 today. I'm going to wear my linen jackets to work while I still can!
Kay and I are starting the plateau busters plan today--we are both tired of being stuck. I am putting this pit here as a way to be accountable! I thought I'd be way ahed of where I am at this point. Oh well it is still better than last year at this time!
Have a good day!

Congratulations on a job well done, Paul. I'll bet it looks awesome, and you will be buff before you know it working like that!!!!
Liv and I had a busy day Saturday with lots of running around looking for tie dye materials. Ask her about the Mexican waiter at the Chinese restaurant........
Yesterday, we went to Wal-Mart and hung mostly around the house. Last night, after the boys got home, we had a Boy Scout Committee meeting, then it was time for bed.
Tonight, David is playing for the Freshman team since they do not have enough players. That seems to be the only time he gets to play. The politics at my kids' school is absolutely ridiculous. He is a sophomore. There are only 9 sophomores on the Fresh/Soph team, so you would think that they would all be playing with fill-ins from the Freshman (since the Freshman have their own team....) NOT at Dakota, where your last name means everything. David spent ALL of Friday night's game on the sidelines, except for 1 kick off return---for the 3rd week in a row.. He is losing his patience with this. He says that if he tries to speak to the coaches, they will not let him play at all. He may not be a star player, but he doesn't stink either. He is capable. Besides that, how do you get better if you are not allowed to play? I guess they have no problem taking my money though.
Liv is having the same issues with volleyball. I swear.......now I know why I don't follow sports.
I will get off my soapbox now, but it feels better to be able to vent.......
It was REALLY FOGGY coming in, but I hear it will burn off and be a lovely day again. I hope to enjoy each and every one of them since we will be shoveling before we know it. At least Lucy will be happy since she likes to shovel!
Everyone have a spectacular day!
Well, it is back to another work week and the weather promises to be nice. I have a late shift this week so I got to sleep in this morning.
Paul, your driveway sounds really nice. Now that you have that technique worked out, you can come and get an additional workout doing mine if you so desire.

Monica, sorry about the sunburn but a dog show sounds great.
Congrats to everyone who is getting that scale to move

It was a good weekend but now it is back to our regularly scheduled program of work. Have a great day!

Good luck with the diet. You seem very motivated (starting early on your pre-op diet!!!). I'm sure you will do great. Keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.
Paul

I am staying low on my calories but not doing well on sticking to the meal replacements. I know that liquids only will be very, very important PO but with that being so far away and ethereal it is hard to stay concentrated.
I had a busy weekend, Sat. I went to Wal mart and got a great deal on some jean can you believe they were only $3.00 each,

boy do I sound happy or what?
Sat. afternoon and night Beloit had their cruse night with the burn out contest,
Sunday not much went on just went to our cousins for dinner.
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
It's a beautiful day in my neighborhood....the sun is shining and I've got a ton of things to do today before I head out the door to go to a Lia Sophia demonstration. My daughter gave me an Amish friendship bread starter and today is the day I need to make it. I've got laundry up the ying yang again....I still haven't figured out how it is multiplying.....still a mystery.....hmmmm......
Hope everyone has a great day! Enjoy the sunshine!
