Monday Roll Call

Good Morning Illinois.  I've barely survived the weekend, but I'm here.  A friend and I decided to put brick ribbons down my new driveway and what we thought would be a few hours of work, turned out to be two 13 hour days of lifting and carring in the hot sun.  I'm about as soar as I can ever remember being.  But it looks great and I survived.  The one nice side was that I got in my excersize while not eating too much!  It looks very foggy out there!  Have a great day.  Paul

Good morning Paul and Illinois,

Paul I bet your driveway looks awesome. Besides your sore muscles are you feeling better with the eating? hopefully so.

I slept so well it was easy to rise early, day by day it does get easier.

Went outside with my dog and it's not so foggy  up here, which is good for any early drivers up my way.

Have a great day everyone.

Cathy,

I am glad you are feeling better and getting around better.  This week should be nice and a good time to spend outside.  Sunshine always feels better!

Everyday it gets better and better and soon, you wont even believe you had the WLS.

Keep up the good work!

Hi Eileen,

Thank you for your kind words. Today was lovely, I took a walk with my dog we just enjoyed  the sun.

It is amazing to me how little hunger I have and little I eat, yet I feel great. I can't wait to see the scale on Thursday.

I hope all is well for you and your family,

hugs,

Good Morning IL

Well Jacob and I decided VERY last minute Thursday night that we were going to head to Fowlerville, MI on Friday for the big American White Shepherd Nationals Dog Show.  We left on Friday at 5:30am and got home last night about 7pm.  It was a very long weekend and I got a cold too!  Jacob did great in the ring using our breeders new dog, since Phantom wasn't show ready we left him behind with Harley and Mike.  It was good to see old friends I haven't seen since March too.  Eating was very hard as the show was at the fairgrounds and food choices sucked, but at least I watched what I did eat and I walked a ton!!  Oooh  I also got a bad sunburn on my upper chest/neck area and my left arm!  lol just those two parts!  oh well

Anyway, today all I have to do is rest and take Tyler to the dermatologist this afternoon.  It should be an easy day today.
I hope everyone had a great weekend and enjoys their Monday!

Hi Monica. Missed seeing you at the support meeting on Saturday. I was the oldest post-op there. Yikes! I got to meet Eileen though. She is so sweet.

Hope your cold gets better. I seem to have lingered on a bit, or getting a second one. I hope not!

I am seeing Dr. Guske (my sweetie and oh, so cute doc) on Friday. He is so dreamy!!

Dog Show??? I watch those on cable sometimes. I love, love the small breeds. Take care of that sunburn! Ouchie...

Hugs and Love,
Lucy

Hi Lucy!
Unfortunately I won't be at many meetings until Football is over for Tyler.  All of his games are on Saturday mornings.  I missed one this Saturday because I was gone and he played great and even got movied up to the starting lineup from now on....figures I missed it!

I met Eileen at Paul's and yes she is very sweet!  There are NO small dogs at the dog shows we go to, they are mostly for White Shepherds, though there is a big one in Kalamazoo, MI in June of every year that is all breeds small, med, big and HUGE!  LOL

Take care, I might go and lay down for a bit again after all the kids are off to school

Good morning Paul, Cathy and Illinois friends.

Paul, congrats on getting the driveway done plus the bonus of lots of exercise! I'm sure it will show on the scale as a loss.

Cathy - good to see you here! Hope you are recovering well.

I got to meet Eileen at the ABMC support group on Saturday. She is a dear and sweet lady. There weren't many people there. I was so surprised! Where's Ronna??

This week is busy for me as I have meetings every day. Today is a staff meeting for the doctors to vote on some bylaws.

Well, wishing everyone a safe and healthy Monday.

Hugs,
Lucy

Hello everyone

I am doing nothing today but working.  I didn't do much this weekend and this coming weekend I have to come in both Saturday and Sunday to work (YUCK!!!)  On the bright side it will be alot of overtime.

Well this week I will continue to work on eating healthy.

Paul-  It sounds like you got a great workout.

Monica- I hope you feel better.  I agree with Lucy, I really like the little dogs.  They're so cute I just want to squeeze them.  I can't have animals in my apartment.  But I would love to have a dog.

Have a great day.

Nice work, Paul!

Busy weekend here--my son's 6th b-day and we had 72 guests, a moonbounce, 23 pizzas and a HUGE cake! It was a pirate theme, so we had lots of fun with that. The weather cooperated, so life is good.

We have lots of leftover b-day cake so I've decided that if anyone stops by today, including the mailman, the poor ******* gets a piece of cake! We now have a piece of cake with each meal. By the end of the week, we should be done!

Mmmm...cake. Perfect for breakfast, right?
