Congrats on you surgery date, it will be here before you know it,
now as for what to take to the hospital, this is what I took.
Chap stick,
slippers
pillow
camera ( I wanted to have pic of my after my surgery,)
 tooth brush, tooth paste
hair brush
that is all I took I put back on the same clothes  that I went their on just make sure they are loose fixing pants,
that is what I took to the hospital,
good luck to you and keep us posted how you are doing after surgery.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!

If you are on a Cpat machine, you need to bring that, also a book or puzzle book, and your personal phone book. I even had my phone with me.

Hi

Congrats on the surgery date    The time will fly by fast.  I spent my time making sure I had small containers, stocking up on things such as jello, soups, popcicles, baby spoons, ****tail forks, small plates, gas x strips, liquid tylenol, protein drink samples, books on wls surgery, sample protein foods, crystal lite or other sugar free drinks and I forget what else.

For the hospital, I took a book to read, crossword puzzle book, ipod, ear plugs, lotion, chapstick, sugar free gum, underwear, toothbrush and paste, slippers that are easy to put on, sports bra (you do NOT want a regular bra for a good month) comb, brush and a prayer shaw that a friend had made me as well as my pillow.

I made sure I had loose clothing to wear around the house that was comfy.  You may not feel like getting dressed or may want to lounge around.  I love the cotton pj's that are out there that are like a tshirt top and capri bottoms out of tshirt fabric.

I also made a will and a medical power of attorney and a living will for a just in case scenario.  I really did not expect anything to go wrong and nothing did but better safe than sorry.

good luck with your surgery!
