Hey pretty lady-you're not alone-Eddie and I are so broke we can't afford to pay attention!!!
Just do what you can do, explain your situation to your creditors and leave it in God's hands-He will provide.  I saw the pain management docs today, and they just sent me home with sympathy and a knee pat.  It seems between my underlyning conditions and the Paget's, there is just nothing to be done to alleviate the bone pain.  What really yanks my crank is they say I'll get shorter-at 4'10' how short can I get?  I'll have to hem my Fruit of the Looms!!!  Take care-I'm glad you and Pam had such a good time-feel better -things will improve-Big Hugs-Janet K

Janet -
You keep me in stiches.  Even when times are bad, you always seem to make light of the situation.  You are a trooper my friend.

Good Morning Everyone!

Same old boring day here again. Send the boys to school, babysit..... nothing exciting! lol
Tomorrow I will be sending my youngest little guy off to his first day of preschool! He will be going on Thursdays and Fridays from 2-4. It's crazy to be sending him off at 29 months, but this was suggested through early intervention. (he receives speech) It is basically just a structured peer group, which I think will be good for him.

Well, enjoy the weather again today!!!

G'day Illinoisians!
Don't have much to report. Cough is better. My weight loss stalled at 30 lbs so I started walking on the treadmill 25, then 30 minutes for last 3 days. I think I lost a pound (my scale's a bit iffy). I can check it at the martial arts club where I go for my stretch-band strength work outs. My clothes are definitely looser though.

I'm having trouble taking that big iron pill at 4am as Dawn suggested. Do anyone know if I can cut it in half to get it down?

-aah, Fall. Finally here?

It should be OK to cut into smaller pieces, unless it says "Do not split or chew" on the bottle.  If it DOES say something like that, you may want to talk to your doctor, because that usually means that it is "timed-release" and those kinds of medicines do not work well for RNYers.  (I actually use chewable iron tablets, although I am going to try a capsule form soon.)

Good Morning my IL family,

I have been up and doing things already since 6am today, which is way too early in my opinion...LOL   I have pork tenderloin marinating in the fridge, I have taken Jacob to the house where he's dog sitting so he could do the morning routine with the dog and I have checked out my guenia pig, Hank, who appears to have lost a tooth sometime recently.  lol  I have no idea what that means and have a call in to a friend who works at Petco with the small animals.
I will be taking my shower and getting ready here soon so I can run to Wally World for dog food, guenia pig food and a few misc items.  Then home to study and then off to Tyler's football game later.  Finally having his game that was cancelled on Saturday.  At least it's a beautiful day outside!

I hope that everyone enjoys the sun and is drying out from the rain....

Good morning Christine and my Illinois family!

I'm back from lurkdom...I had a great weekend.....I'm glad to see not too many of you were flooded out.....Sunday was my MIL 78th birthday and we went to her home to celebrate...surprised her with my son and his family...she didn't know they were coming in....it has been 1.5 years since all her grandchildren and great grandchildren were in the same place at the same time....of course we took lots of pictures....my daughter and her children also came home with us.....Monday we had a treasure hunt for the little ones and they had a blast....thank goodness the sun was shining! ....we also had a Halloween fashion show....that was a hoot....they liked putting on costumes that didn't fit and pranced around the living room.... they did have fun....Monday night we just hung out and on Tuesday they all went home....5 minutes after they left I missed them all...it was just too quite.....it took my son an extra hour to get home with 80-94 and a portion of 65 closed...but at least they knew that before they left and took an alternate route....the house is straightened and I've got laundry...again...it is never ending.....back to my usual boring life ....til the next time....

Hope you all have a great day!

Carol

Good morning everyone!

Chris, you and Dave enjoy that new bed.  It is always nice to get something new.  We LOVE our mattress set that we got for Christmas a couple of years ago, and Amber loves to stay at our house to watch the kids because she says our bed is the most comfortable bed ever!!!

So.....is Dave going to be contracting with several different companies?

I am working today, nothing special.  I am hoping to hop over to the hospital to get some blood drawn to check my iron.  That's about as exciting as it gets for me today.

I ordered the dies yesterday and they will be here Monday.  I am doing it a bit different this time.  I have ordered a few different shades of greens, blues and purples.  Along with the yellow, red and orange that I already have, we should get some very good results!  I even found a "mist gray" that is supposed to be like silver!

Everyone have a super day and enjoy the weather.  Please pray that it sticks around for another 10 days!
