Wednesday Roll Call
Good morning Chris and friends. I think I am finally getting rid of my cold. I don't feel as bad anymore. I've been taking Tylenol cold and drinking tea with rum so I can get some sleep. I really believe I got it from my roommate on the cruise. She thought she had a sinus infection; well, I think not. I was stuck as all the staterooms were full. so I couldn't even ask for an upgrade. Don't get me wrong. I loved my roommate. She was so sweet.
Work is on my plate now. The bank cut off my home equity line of credit saying that the value of my home went down. So now in addition to my weight problems, I have financial ones. Going to have to make minimum payments on my bills. I haven't done that in years. I am very upset about this change of events.
At least I have a job so the money is still coming in. Otherwise, I would have to file for bankruptcy. Never thought that could happen to me.
So there are no vacations or purchases in sight. I only have to go to a conference in Milwaukee next month and pay for the hotel stay. Going cheap and bringing my food. Not buying anything while I am there.
As you can tell, I am indeed sad today. Though, at least I don't have flooding issues. I think if I did, I would lose it completely.
Wishing you all a wonderful Wednesday.
Hugs.
Lucy

Sorry Lucy! We have had our share of finacial troubles resently. I have been looking for a part time job to help out but nothing pays enought to cove gas expences enough to actully show I would be making money, since I live 25 miles from anything that is looking for help. So min wage just won't work! So you are in my prayers to have a brighter happier day!

Lucy -
I would venture to so that most are struggling one way or another with the ecomony the way it is. Hang in there and try not to let this bump in the road get you down. I know it's easier said then done. We have really had to tighten up on things too. With Amanda in college, my day job cutting out all my ot that I was getting (20+ hours a week) and then losing my pt job serving. Calvin is in training so he is not eligible for any bonus plan. It's been tight. AND..... our girls always seem to think we are so well off and loaded with money. Geez....
I'm so thankful that Outback hired me but I'm still in training so not making any tips yet.
Like the others said, it will all work out in HIS time.
BTW, Glad your feeling better.
