Revision on 04/19/13
Good morning Paul and my Illinois friends!
Glad to hear that you are finally getting some relief Paul. Follow the doctor's orders and I hope you will be back to "normal" soon.
When I checked in on Saturday, I forgot to tell you all that the dreaded barbeque went all right. Even though it was raining, they had purchased a couple of those "shelters" that are like a tent at the top on long poles. This made it OK to stay outside while my MIL stayed inside as usual. On the way there, Liv and I had a good talk about the past and why it should be OK this time, and it was. Her and I arrived late and left early and both my MIL and sister-in-law were on their best behavior. That, and all the support from everyone else made it not so bad.
I am thinking of everyone that had flooding and hoping that the damage is as minimal as possible. We got rain all weekend, but not very heavy, just constant.
We had the laziest weekend that I can remember in a LONGGGGGGG time. Although LIv got up early and went to a volleyball tournament on Saturday, the rest of us just kind of lazed about all weekend and nothing strenuous was accomplished. I even took a nap on Saturday! We went out to eat both evenings so I didn't even have to clean the kitchen! We are usually SO busy that is was nice to do nothing for a change. Now, it is back to work and back to the hectic schedule.
Tonight is Rockford Support Group, David is playing in the Freshman game because they do not have enough players and Liv has volleyball. Both kids' games are "away", so they will not be home until 8 and 9 pm. I do not know if Todd is going to either game as it is kind of hard to choose one over the other.
It seems like the sun is trying to peek out here, and I hear it is supposed to be beautiful the rest of the week. I hope the good weather comes back NEXT weekend (the 27th) for the Tie Dye Party. Although it can be done in the garage, everything is more fun in good weather. If anyone needs information, let me know.
Gotta get back to work.......my boss is gone all week.

We are looking forward to the party! Liz and I were talking about replacing our drapes in the living room, and I jokingly said we should just bring them to the party. Well, Liz loves the idea so it looks like that's what we are going to do! Our little house will be turned into a hippie pad!!! We may have to rename the kids to Chastity and Moon Unit!
Greetings everyone! I'm so happy to be back and on OH.
We had a great trip even though Ike spoiled our stop to San Juan. That just gave us another leisurely day at sea.
I hope Pam got home safe and sound. She had to take a bus from the airport home. We had an early start to the day and long, long journey home.
I have to say that Pam looks absolutely marvelous. She is so, so thin. I met many of her friends on the cruise. They were so friendly and I learned so much from them.
I was an early bird and energetic in the morning. After dinner, it was downhill for me. I slept good even with the ship rocking a bit.
Now I need to settle down and get over this cold. No more trips scheduled. I do have a conference in Milwaukee, WI next month for 3 days. That's it for now.
I just need to rest and then focus on my band, exercise and loosing weight. I still have feelings of hate about myself and I know I have to work on that. Pam was supportive and trying to help me work through it.
I'm glad that Paul got some help with his band and irritation.
Sorry to hear that many of you have problems with the flooding and/or power problems. God bless you all!
Hugs,
Lucy
