The past weekend I was getting some nervous and this thought of canceling my surgery had come to mind as I was standing in line at Walgreen's, Just when it was my turn , the cashier said " When is your baby due"   -       and it hit me SURGERY ON!!!  that will be the last time someone asks me when my baby is due.!!!
All doubts gone, that moment confirmed this to me.

How did I respond? Like I always do, " I am not pregnant - I am just fat"

Paul, I missed something - what precipitated the call to the consultant in MX? Sorry, that you are having difficulties, hope it is better soon.

I've been having increasingly more common problems keeping food down.  Meals that would go down easy one week, would be a problem the next.  The consultant suggested that I go on liquids for twenty-four hours after any incident.  I tried that over the weekend and it seemed to help.  Unfortunately, my band is small and I have a great deal of resistance.  And I've never had a fill, so there's nothing to remove.  I guess I just keep pushing the envelope with my eating, and I keep thinking that I can have foods that I really can't.  As well as I've done with my weight loss, I still have a ways to go in relearning what and how to eat.  If things get worse, I'll go for a florascope and see if there has been any band slippage.  But from what I've read, that would cause much greater problems than I'm actually having.  Thanks for the concern!  Paul

Last evening went to check basement and, had a foot of water down there!   Wasn't supposed to rain today and had another down pour at 4pm just when I was getting home from the bus.
I did get my carpet smelling nice and fresh yesterday!
I have also caught me a head cold! Yuck! I wish if I was going to catch something it would be fun!
Oh well that's life!
Paul I understand your difficulty with your band, for some reason maybe stress on the bus and my life right now but nothing wants to go down easy. It always takes a couple months to get the kids back under control after summer break, and with my SIL's death and then finding out her beautiful 21 yr old daughter my niece has been taking her meds more like candy then prescribed and yesterday she passed out from it well its a lot to handle! My brother is doing well though considering all this!
