Saturday Roll Call
We got in 7 miles of walking yesterday. Those little pedometers ended up being real good for being cheap. I was able to fire up my Garmin last night. I think the on/off switch is going bad. I will have to send it back to the manufacturer for repair. That thing is too expensive to just go buy another one.
Have a great day all.

I'm sure that you and Dave can stay dry AND have a great time....you are always SO busy.
Christina, I hope your leak turns out to be minor. How did the orientation go?
I got up very early this morning to get Liv to school to meet the bus for her first volleyball tournament. I am trying to decide if I should drive down to the tournament, but keep wavering.
Not sure what is on the agenda for today. Todd wanted to clean out the other garages, but with the rain, that may not happen.
I hope everyone stays safe and dry.
It actually turned out OK. It was raining, but they had purchased shelters to sit under so that everyone did not have to be inside.
My MIL was on her best behavior as well as my sisters-in-law, at least when it came to ME & Liv.
Liv and I got there late and left early, so it all turned out OK. All that apprehension for nothing.
Have a splendid day!
Not much going on in my neck of the woods! I was going to go to Morton to the pumkin festival but since its raining I think I'll pass this yr. I wanted to get some of their pumkin icecream. I have never been there because it was too hard to do the walking when i was caring the weight, theres always next yr.
Christine and Dave enjoy your trip and stay dry! I bought me a pedometer and I love it. I really thought I was walking more then I am so now I can at least push my self to get in the steps. I got mine from Weigh****chers. Its so easy to work I love easy! Have a grat weekend. Hope to see both you, Dave and Christina in Oct at support group!
Christina I understand wet basements so far we are alright but I have to keep everythimg thats important at least a foot off the floor in ours. My dryer, freezer and some kitchen items that I just don't have room for upstairs is down there. Oh and a few frogs. I figure they help keep the crickets under control. Livivng in the country you have some different kind of pets but they are safe!!! LOL!!
Well going to go find something to do was going to finish weeding but with the rain I can put it off a few more days.

I have already deep cleaned our bedroom, I hate waking up to seeDH s dressers piled high with junk, so today I can actually now now see the top of the furniture. I know he will have a fit about it, but to bad. I really get tired of asking him to clean off his stuff. I will tackle the kitchen next, then I have some errands to run.
I seen Dr. Guske yesterday. I had a 9 am appointment and was out of there by 10. Everything is good, but, I only lost 1.5 # this past month. I need to get back to journaling. We also did a few other things and got home about 5. We did stop at the travel agents and get more info on our planned trip to Alaska next June. Now, we are more confused then ever on which tour we want to take. I am sure everything will come together shortly.
Have a great Day
Hugs
Its been awhile since I have posted. I hope everyone is doing well. I have had a lot of stress going on, but things are much better now. I go to see Dr. Rosen on the 18th for my 5th visit and I will have completed my six mos in October! I am so excited. I am amazed how fast time did go by. Not much planned for today except painting my livingroom. woo hoo. Have a great all.

I am finally getting around to the computer and posting. I really slept in this morning. I stayed up much too late last night glued to MSNBC watching Hurricane IKE land in Texas. I shudder to imagine what damage it would have done if it had been a category 3 storm.
I need to go shopping for food this weekend but will hopefully time it for when the rain stops.

I sure could tell that the full moon is coming Monday at work yesterday. Boy were people grouchy on the phones. Glad when the end of the day came. My schedule keeps changing each week. Some days it is early and I get out by 5 and other days not until 6:30 or 7. I sure wish they would make up their minds. I like routines and the ability to plan and I have neither with a schedule that is so volatile. But enough of my whining.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.
