I just would like to know how long it take you guys to get approved for surgery i feel like I'm going crazy just waiting for the letter. I called my doctor and they said that i get my letter first but i thought that public aid Fax them a copy to have on file because i don't get my mail from public aid and I'm afraid that I'm going to miss my letter and have to wait forever to know if i can get it please help.
I turn my stuff in 2 weeks ago and i would like some help.

I thank god im almost on the other side.

It took me 18 months for the whole process, but after everything was sent in it only took me 30 days. Good luck and if you need support I am here.

VBG on 04/07/09

I was told 30 days for approval. Doctors office will call me.

VSG on 10/07/08

Generally they say 30 days but you can be lucky to get it in as little time as 2 weeks! Good luck to you!

It took around two weeks for me to get my approval letter. I did receive it before the doctor's office received the fax. Weird but that is the way it works for some reason.
