Do you have anything special going on today?I am just about ready to get prepared for my work day. Need to do a little packing after work then back to work to help with a celebration dinner for our police volunteers. have some catch up to do when I get in and that is about it. Just am about packed for the Dells and need to put some last minute things together to take with. Looks like our weekend up there will be chilly willy. Had to find the sweat pants yesterday.

Good morning friends!
The radio says it's going to be a cool one today and that the heavy fog will lift. Well, the fog forgot to come to my neighborhood! It looks great outside! I have a breakfast meeting at work today and they called me to ask what I could eat and that is what will be served to everyone! I have some great people to work with!
That's about all I know today. It's time to get ready to go.

Good Morning my IL family,
Today we are going to try for Tyler's football game again, since it got cancelled yesterday because the kids couldn't swim and play football at the same time! lol
Other than that, I am going to be in search of a fall time coat/jacket because I went to put mine on the other day and it's huge! Hopefully I find something not too expensive, since hopefully by the spring it will also be too big. Tyler's open house last night was interesting, man I must have walked 2 miles in that school....it seems that every other class is across the school and the school is 500,000 square feet, both an upstairs and downstairs...so I got a workout. I wish I would have worn my pedometer..lol

I'm here at the dreaded work again. The weather is cold, but perfect sleeping weather.
I did well on first day of my new healthy eating habits (notice how I don't use the word DIET). I ate lots of fruit and veggies and I had turkey. One day down the rest of my life to go. You know I read some where that if you do something for 6 weeks it becomes a habit. Well I hope this becomes a habit. I didn't go walking yesterday for obvious reasons. Maybe I can go for a walk today.
Fingers crossed that the weight will start coming off.
I tried twoce now to get a picture loaded and I keep getting a message that the file too large!!! Its starting to make me mad
A girl at work here thinks the pixel count is too large. I would like to get my picture up, I'm tired of being a question mark. What tips do you have???

Well it looks like the rain has passed and a cool front is here, You would think that fall is on the way! We had enough rain here yesterday to last us awhile.
Yesterday was extremely busy at work. Phones were ringing off the hook. Not the way I like to spend Mondays but it could have been worse. People at least were not grouchy.
Talked to my niece over the weekend. Seems like Gustave only did minor damage to her house. She lost a bit of siding. Her store was undamaged. I am so relieved that Ike seems to have Texas in its crosshairs and not New Orleans. Hope he doesn't change his mind! He looks nasty.
