Tail Bone Pain
I did go see my bone Dr. He ordered a body bone scan whice showed no problem with my tail bone, I am now woundering if this weight loss is causing the problem since my cousion is gone?Any one out their that this has happen .and if so what do we do now ???

Congrats on you weight lost.
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
When I was a sophmore in HS, a very long time ago, I broke my tailbone and it healed slightly crooked. When I was heavier it didn't bother me, but now that I have lost 75 lbs it kills me whenever I have to sit for a little longer. Unfortunately I am not sure there is anything they can do for it..I think it's something we have to deal with now that our cushion is gone.
I am also having some hip joint problems. I can't put my right ankle up on my left knee anymore without HORRIBLE pain shooting through my right hip and I can't even lift that leg up to take off my sock or put on/take off my shoe. I do need to see a Dr about that I think and then I will ask him about the tail bone as well.
Congrats on the weight loss and keep up the great work!
As far as what to do - each person is different and maybe you can take a pillow to sit on from now on or for the short term.

I am down 120 lbs and also have a tail bone problem. I'm sitting right on the darned thing. (Wouldn't have known I had one before the weight loss!)
I saw an episode of Big Medicine that featured a woman with the same problem and the plastic surgeon on the show removed her tailbone when he did her body lift.
I have some consults with PSs next month and will be asking them about the same possibility with me.
I did have the cushion you can see on this link - and it did help but I haven't replaced it yet after I left it on a plane... :-( was expensive. It has a dip in the center where the handle is that if you sit in the right spot, your tail bone is "suspended in air" and doesn't actually hit the chair.
