Good Morning Illinois Friends!

Time to get up and enjoy another beautiful day!  We have another wonderful day to enjoy the weekend and I plan to take full advantage of it.  I am on the net for a quick while before getting ready for church.  Then when I get home, it is time to catch up on newspapers and read the Sunday paper -- my treat for the week. 

Hope everyone has a great day!  We had such beautiful weather yesterday, I can only hope for a repeat today, but I am not going to hold my breath. 

Good morning Nancy and all of Illinois,
It looks great outside.  Right now I am enjoying a GREAT cup of coffee.  I bought a new coffee maker last night as my old one croaked.  The coffee makers change every time I have to buy a new one.  I guess you can say that we drink alot of coffee, considering that we buy a new pot about every 2 or 3 years.  I am excited for football tonight!!!  GO BEARS!!!

Morning All 

I have a lazy day ahead of me.  Outside of a couple errands, I need to buy something for my BFF.  On September 11th she lost her mother and its always a hard day for her. Other than that I will be home all day today.  I'm going to watch Vertigo.  I never saw it before.  I'm also going to work on a scrapbook.  I thought it would be a fun way to document my up coming weight loss.  

It looks like a beautiful day today.  What better day to start off my new excersise program. 

Good Morning Nancy and all of Illinois,

Last evening we went to a BBQ and fire at my daughters  in Bloomington. It was a nice evening and we got home rather late (for my DH). It was fun sitting around the campfire, as we haven't done it in a long time.

This morning we are meeting DH's cousin for breakfast, then I want to work on my current rug. Its being done in pinks  and a bit of blue for a Xmas gift for our granddaughter.

I have to finish some laundry too.

I hope to spend some time outside today too.

That sounds like a great hobby/craft.  I hope you will tell me these are not made on a loom as Icould really use a few small rugs and something to do with my hands beside this.

Hi everybody!

I missed all of you while I was gone--glad to see nothing major happened. My conference was excellent--well worth the time, but I am not a Las Vegas fan and I couldn't wait to get out of there. Kay picked me up at O'Hare and we went to McCormick and Schmick for dinner. What a great restaurant! We ordered one entree and split it which was plenty to eat and made the price very moderate. If  you are a fish lover, you must give it a try.

I did most of my unpacking last night, but today I need to get the papers together to turn in to my expense account at work. I also want to go to Cannoli Cafe for a cup of coffee. The rest of the day is open.

Good Sunday morning Nancy and Illinois!

My sons BBQ went well. Didn't get home til late, but it was nice sitting around the fire pit. Lisa...we sound like we were at the same bbq. It was very enjoyable sitting and talking with adults for a change. Everyone seemed to have a good time!

Not much on the agenda today...take it easy everyone! Have a great day!

Good Afternoon everyone!
My boys let me sleep in until 10am this morning! How nice of them. I felt like a teenager again! lol

Today we are going to clean up the house, finish the laundry that we fell behind on yesterday, then head outside for most of the day. The boys can't mess up the house if we aren't inside

Big milestone yesterday, my 6 year old taught himself to ride his bike without training wheels!! He was SO excited, and everyone was very proud of him. We actually had 3 of the neighbors come out to watch because they saw him from inside their houses! lol
