Protein Slim-Fast
I use the low carb slimfast - it has 20 grams of protein per can. I get them at Woodman's on Randall Road in Carpentersville for $5.79 for 4. Sometimes I can get them for $4.79 on sale there.
I started buying them at Walgreens but there it's $6.79 regularlly and $6 on sale so Woodman's is better even when not on sale.

I think we are all talking about the same Slim-Fast. I may need to join Costco or Sam's. My cans say they have 5g of fat 24 grams of carms and 15g of protein. I was told by one RD that 15g is the right amount of protein for firing up the matabolism in the morning so I may start drinking them in the morning as they are easy. Adding whey protein kicks up the protein and the calories. The whey also does not mix easily with a spoon and in the morning using the boat motor I am aslo likely to make a mess. You must be close to me. I am just off Golf and Rozelle in the midrises.
I use the bottles from my bottled water to mix mine. I use a funnel to pour in the slim fast + a scoop of whey protein powder + a package of carnation instant breakfast (all chocolate). I shake it really well then strain into a tumbler & drink it with a straw. It makes a thick, rich yummy shake. And it's 44g protein.

Thank you for the tips again I have only found the 16 oz bottles so far. I found the powdered hi pro slim fast in powder so that will really save me some money. I had an IB, a scoop of whey and ascoop of hi pro for my first drink today a fudgecicle experiance. My second drink at 4pm was a scoop of high pro and half a scoop of whey. That gets the protein in for less calories and not having to use an extra cup measurer for the milk. Thank you again
