Saturday Roll Call
What a wonderful morning to sleep in! The weather is perfect. Nice and cool last night and it promises to be a beautiful day!
I plan to spend some time going through clothes this weekend. I have got to get serious about getting rid of more stuff. I pulled out a sweater to wear for work yesterday and it just hung on me so bad I took it off and tried to find something else to wear. So there is no looking back on the clothes that are still lurking in drawers and closets. I got rid of a lot of summer but not fall and winter. So that is next.
Then the typical weekend chores of laundry and grocery shopping. Then time to kick back and relax. That I enjoy doing the most.

Hope everyone has a great weekend!

Not learning many names yet but I will. I keep waiting for that kitty on the ticker to jump up on me. We had to leave our last kitty in Houston. She was something else. A real watch kitty as she was feral then with a family for a month or so where she was trained by a doberman. Ever see a black long haired tabby run to a knock at the door and point? You early risers, I got up at 5:45 but was not awake so after an hour asleep sitting up on the couch I had the good sense to go back to bed with my mask and apap. Got back up at 9:45. DW is at Harvest so she might run into Chris.
Hi Lisa and Illinois friends
What and awesome day, the weather is perfect! Nicefor all the parties everyone is attending.
Today will be the usual weekend chores, housekeeping and shopping. Buying the vitamins and supplements for after surgery and lots of soft foods.
Thanks to those that sent me ideas as to what to buy.
I have new neighbors that just moved in, I plan to go across the street and introduce myself. The new family has young children and this will be nice for the neighborhood. Most of the families kids are about college age. Slowly my street is turningover to younger families, I like hearing the kids play outside.
Enjoy the day everyone

My weekend isn't going very well. My brothers wife passed away yesterday suddenly! Its like a nightmare that I can not wake up from. She was 45. She has had her share of med problems but she was really doing well since her kidney transplant in May. They were actually enjoying life the way it should be. Her free from dialysis. They had been camping, fishing hiking you name it they were trying to do it. We were told that her potassium was off the charts (HIGH). It then did something to the heart and when she got to the hospital she was brain dead. They did not have to pull the plug as some call it she expired on her own even with life support. Sorry to be the gloomy one I just need to ramble I guess. I will go put the rest on my blog.
