Saturday Roll Call

Good Morning Illinios  Land.

It looks to be another nice Saturday. The weather folks are saying around 75 and sunny.

Nothing on my agenda for today. I started making Paul's pulles pork for dinner tomorrow. It has been in the oven for about an hour now. I want to work on my current rug and maybe go to Wally World, but not sure on that.

So, what are your plans for this first weekend of September?

Morning everyone

Yeah its Saturday!!!  I'm going to Trader Joes today for fresh fruits and veggies.  They have good organic fruit.  I try to buy only organic.  It costs more but its better for me and the environment. 

I didn't sleep good last night.  I have this bad habit of sleeping with my arms under me.  Well when I was skinny this was no problem.  But now I'm heavy and the weight of me on my arms is not good.  I woke up and my arms fell asleep (really bad pin pokes and tingles for like 20 mins).  I do this all of the time.  Some nights are worse than others.  Its hard to break this habit because I do it in my sleep.  Isn't that weird.  I don't have sleep apnea, I have "arms falling asleep syndrome".  I do this sometimes 3 or 4 times a night.  This can't be healthy for my arms.  And then I don't sleep very well because of this.

Today is busy busy busy! First my DH has a coumadin check this morning, then an eye doctor visit before we go to Dan's for the bbq. Thank goodness it is much warmer and brighter (sunny) outside today.
Tonight Ava, Vince and mommy will be having a "sleepover" at my house.
I guess I'll have to get the bed ready before we leave today.

Tomorrow night we are going to the last park concert of the season.
When the concerts end....so does summer.... that makes me sad....

Good Morning my IL family!

Today is going to be a good day, I can just feel it!  lol   I have been up for a while now getting Lisa's Apple crisp made and in the oven and in a bit I will be making the hamburger dip recipe to take to my neice's hosue for a housewarming / 1st birthday party.  We will be heading out about 10:30 and the party starts at 12.  It's out in Spring Valley so it's a drive, but I wouldn't miss it for anything.  That will be most of our day.  When we get home, we'll pop over to the neighbors for a bit as they are also having a 3rd and a 1st birthday party for their kids today.  Lots of partying!  lol

Tomorrow I will pack up more Ebay items to take to the post office on Monday and then don't know what I'll do.  lol

Lisa, I have sold some of my bigger clothes and some video games and systems. Also some of the boys old YuGiOh cards....my seller name is mrsgerz...imagine that huh?  lol

Good Morning!!

We have a crazy morning. Colin has a soccer game at 9:30, then Brandon has a soccer game at 11:00! Thankfully they both play on the same field today since my hubby is at work! No plans other than that, hopefully we can do something fun with the kids tonight

I better get these boys dressed and ready to go, have a great day everyone!

Happy Saturday Everyone -
Calvin and I are heading out shortly for a quick trip to Indy.  My granddaughter Madilynn turned one today so it's party time.  I'm so looking forward to seeing Jessica, Al and the girls.  Nanna has to take lots of pictures!  Not too much else going on.  Work is very stressfull right now.  I'm still looking for a full time and second job.  Outback called Thursday night as I was heading to my support meeting to come in and take a test.  Geez... it was one of those peronsality tests with about 100 questions then 50 math solving questions.  So, I have not heard anything else from them but will follow up on Monday.  I figured they did not open until 4 on Friday and Sat/Sun are busy for them so I'll give them a little bit of time.
Calvin loves his new job!  Yea!

You missed a good Joey support group. Dave and I were wondering where most of the regulars were at. The group was great because there were a lot of new PO's and they asked a lot of great questions and you know how Joey is with questions about exercise . . . .?

Hi Chris and IL -
We are home safe and sound.  Talk about a world wind of a trip.  I really hate to make the trip in one day but Calvin has to open in the morning so it is what it is.
We had a great visit but like I said, it was quick.
Calvin had to work Thursday night and I honestly was heading to the support group meeting when I got the call from Outback Steakhouse.  I really need the second job right now with Amanda starting her first year of college and all so I had to miss the support group meeting.  I needed it too.  I'm struggling so bad right now with the carbs and exercise.  I knew going into this I would still struggle for live but man.. It has really, really gotten hard for me to stay focused and do the right things.  I'm scared but keep praying for the strength.
