Friday Roll Call

Good Morning everyone!

I sent my little man to the bus stop alone this morning, and he told me just to leave the garage open for him after school My baby is growing up! (The bus stop is only at the corner...lol)

Nothing fun going on today, just babysitting, then taking Brandon to Karate. We had a long day yesterday, so I'm sure we will just stay home tonight. The boys need extra sleep anyway, since they have their 1st soccer games in the morning.

Thank you all for welcoming me to the boards.  Send me good vibes that I can resist the temptations over the next couple of days.  I have a rehearsal dinner and wedding coming up today and tomorrow.  Keep sending me posts, so I have to keep typing and stay away from that awesome bag of trail mix from Sams.  Again, anyone have a roll of duct tape laying around

Hi everyone! Today is my Wedding Anniversary so DH is taking me to dinner tonight. He wants me to pick, but I hate doing that because I always seem to pick mexican fod, easier for me to eat. I am always affraid to try new things and be sick out in public. Only 4 more days till my doctor appointment and my BDAY! Everyone have  great weekend!

I have my own little cloud today.  The scales decided I gained at least three pounds this week.  I really enjoyed the rain yesterday.  One tree below my balcony has been turning colors and really, really needs it.  I ate too much food not prepared at home this week.  Otherwise I would be mad at fitday but honestly I can only be angry with myself.  I will have to tuck in and just do foods I prepare or that comes from cans and get on the meal replacements more.  It seems so odd to just drink meal replacements all day.  I have to do what I have to do though.

I have had a lot of trauma this week with the DRS telling me I have too many medical problems to work and then sending me a letter closing my case.  I have talked to people up and down the line at DRS and it is beginning to look as if the philosophy they have is just to try to get folks to take a job that pays anything above minimum wage and there seems to be no way to explain to them that when that is a second income and you add in all the extra expenses with going to work you end up with negative net income.  Anyway this drama may well have added some water weight this week so I am not too worried about the scales.

Good Morning. Boy, is it cool today. But, I love it. Now if it was bright and sunny, it would be even better. I guess we all complain about the weather no matter what it is.

This has been a busy morning. Our van had to go to be serviced, then we went to Krogering, came home for the garage to call and say the van was done. So, we trucked on back to the garage. Now I am trying to pick up the house, and get some lunch made. I did get some choc. mint ice cream made this morning. Can I say its goooooood.

Jenn, I am so happy you touched base with us this morning. I was wondering what was going on since we hadn't heard anything lately.

Lucy and Pam, have a great time next week. We are taking the Alaska cruise next June. I am looking forward to it,

Good afternoon Paul and my Illinois family!

Iv'e been busy today. I cleaned house, bought groceries and did my baking and cooking for my sons party. Even though I can't eat any of it I really enjoyed the baking. I hope it warms up a bit for tomorrow as the party is outside. I need to pack up the lawn chairs and the coolers later tonight.
