Hi there.
I just wanted to say hi and say I really enjoy hearing all the helpful advice in here. I don't share a lot but I usually read them all. Most of the time there are already post to things I am wondering. I live in WI but had my surgery 10 weeks ago with Dr. McClellan in Harvard, IL. So far best desicion I have ever made.
I am 33 year old teacher. I teach high school math in Rockford. I am not married and have no kids. Altho I have two cats. Nice to meet you all and thanks again for all the words I read!

I am a patient of Dr. McClellan's as well. And I have cats too! Although I have a few more than you do.
Welcome to the forum. Dr. McClellan is strict so early out, but hang in there, it is well worth it. I have not dumped or vomited or had food get stuck. I firmly believe I have a pouch of steel by following her guidelines!

HI neighbor,and welcome to the best OH board , my name is Janet I have three children's and 7 grands,I live just over the boarder by Cubs. I also had Dr. McClellan in Harvard and Just love her. Oct I will be out 1 yrs and doing great. As to date I have lost 163. I have two dogs that keep me company now, as all my kids are married and living on their own.
I don't know if you go to Harvard for the support meeting every month. I don't due to the long drive, but I do go to the one in Rockford every three Monday, Connie who is here on the board runs them, she is great,
Please stop by everyday for the roll call, that is how we all keep in touch with everyone , we would love to have you.

Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
