Sunday Roll Call

Good Morning everyone! Sorry I missed you all yesterday, but we didn't make it home from Six Flags until after 11!!! We all had a blast though, the boys loved it there.

Yesterday was Colin's 4th Birthday, and today is his party at gymnastics. My kids should be good and tired tonight! lol

Not much else to update! I can't wait to see some pics from yesterday, and I really hope to make the next meet and greet!

Good morning Carol and the rest of Illinois!

Thank you Carol for posting the pictures.  They are very nice.  I will get to mine soon, I hope.

We did not get home until 8:30, then a quick change of clothes and dish to pass, then off to the other party last night.  We had a great time out there dancing and carrying on.  David got to drive, so he was happy, and Olivia sang Kareoke (sp?) for the first time in "public".

Today, the kids need to get the lawn mowed and plants watered.  I will clean up the house for tomorrow's barbeque.  Then we are off to the Waterfront for the rest of the day and evening.

I have my recipe on my work computer, so I may not get it posted until Tuesday, but I DID post it about 2 weeks ago as a R.O.D. of anyone needs it sooner.  It was Crispy Chopped Chicken Salad.  The only variation I did yesterday was that I chopped the romaine lettuce instead of making individual servings lined with romaine.

Well, I am off..........everyone enjoy the beautiful weather today and hug your loved ones!

It was one of the nicest gatherings we've ever had.  Such nice folks and great eats!  Liz and I had a great time and will definately plan on doing it again next summer!  Everyone was so friendly and happy!  It was so good to see such loss on those who I met at the last gathering I attended.  And all the partners seemed to have a great time too!  And Meredith loved all the kids.  We have a great family here on the Illinois Board!

Good (Late) Morning to Everyone.

I am busy this morning with my daughter, we are fixing dinner together. Hopefully the guys will have the tenet house done this weekend. It will be nice to make other plans again.

Again, a big Thank You to Paul and Liz. You have a nice home and a great yard. I will definitly plan on attending again, if you do host another one. I know, its an extreme drive for me, but it was so much fun.

Has anyone heard from Christina? I am a bit worried since she didn't call yesterday or anything.

Yesterday was Christina's 2 yr surgiversary!

Sorry I could not make Pauls meet and greet! I would love to make one some time. I would love to meet all my new Illinois Family. I get some much support from here that I would love to meet the ppl that share my ups and downs!
I am about 25 miles west of Peoria. Which is about 75 miles from LaSalle and I try to make all my support groups up in downers grove.  Maybe someday a meet and greet will be on the same weekend that I will be up that way. Its the first Thursday of the month. Since going back to work I will only be going up in Oct, Nov, and Dec. Then I will not be back up till the spring unless I need to see Dr Rosen for a fill or complications.  I will check out all the reciepes and maybe try a couple.
