Friday Roll Call

later today I get the stitches out of my foot then I have to go get the food for tomorrow's meet and greet. other then that not much else going on here. Hope everyone has a good day,.
So what is going on in you little part of the world?
Success begins with wise choices I make,I will not let noncompliance be my mistake, The surgery I had was to assist me in changes. My compliance is for a success long range, So I will think before I decide to cheat. Remember the goals I want to meet. For this surgery is not something I was force to do It was what I wanted for a healthy life!
Good Friday Morning Janet and Illinois Friends!
The weekend is finally here! I for one will be glad to put this week behind me. It has not been a good week for me. Those dang hormones that people talk about coming out as you lose weight have hit me with a vengeance this week. I can barely live with myself.
Any suggestions are welcome.
I am really looking forward to tomorrow! Excited to finally meet all of you that I have been talking to for months. I will finally get to know you in person. See you then.

happy friday all! for my friday morning weigh in, i'm (drum roll)......245.2!!! for a total loss in 3 months of 51.4 pounds!!!! WOOHOO! who says the surgery can't still work for you after 6 years? =)
sorry that i've been MIA. i'm getting ready to move. we're currently in an apartment and we almost lost our house to foreclosure but the bank (one that was so unwilling to help us before) decided to thru in a hail mary saving grace plan in the final hour!! i guess part of the governments bailout of fannie mae is actually going to help us!! THANK YOU! =) so, we can keep our house and this weekend, we're moving back in! very exciting! now, as long as my husband doesn't lose 4 jobs this year, we might be OK! lol
i was excited to see the scale still moved this month. i'm going to be doing my measurements a bit later and will do another post for those, but my exercise has been lacking big time!! under a lot of stress and being pulled in 50 different directions didn't leave much time for my elliptical! i doubt my measurement loss was that great this month but at least the scale is still moving!!!
everyone have a great friday!!! my 4 year old is back in school and loving every minute of it. she goes MWF, so time to get moving for that! have a great weekend!!

Good morning Janet and friends. Yikes, I can't believe that August is almost over! I'm really getting excited about my upcoming cruise next weekend with Pam. She has a new picture on her avatar. Check out her profile. PamS. She's gotten so thin!!
Yesterday afternoon I went to a wake for a doctor that I knew for 20 years, a neurosurgeon who was only 63 years old and dropped dead in a parking lot of a restaurant. He was respected and loved by many. I met his only sister and living relative. She is a sweet person. It was difficult for me to see him lying in the casket. I really liked the man; he never married. After talking with the sister, I understood why. His father up and left his mother to raise two kids alone. That must have been heartbreaking for him. I think he put up a wall around him so not to get hurt. He kept to himself and worked hard. Oh, I am so sad. Of course, I cried at the wake. I couldn't help myself!
Today's the funeral, but I'm working and think it would be too hard for me to go. He is in my thoughts and prayers as well as his sister.
Wishing everyone a happy Friday and holiday weekend.
Hugs and Love,
Lucy
This weekend looks like more of the same as past weekends. The highlight will be going to Paul's tomorrow. Then I will be home for Sunday and Monday.
I do want to comment about how many responses we are now getting to the daily roll call. IT'S GREAT! Yesterday there was over 30, and the day before it was a lot too. This really saids a lot for the Illinois forum, and the great group of people who post daily. Also to the great group of newbies that are now posting.Welcome to the Illinois Family.
Have a great and safe Friday, remember, there will be a lot of nutty drivers out this weekend. Be aware of what is going on around you.
Hugs
I was stable yesterday and today is looking good so far so pray that it stays stable. I go to the doctor on Wednesday to discuss what our options are. I just know that I can't live like this anymore.
Hope you and everyone have fun at the party tomorrow. I will not be there in person but will be there in spirit.
Glad to hear that your stiches are coming out, that means you are on the road to recovery! I am excited to see you (and everyone else) tomorrow.
I am just working today, and already looking forward to 4:00 pm. David has his first football game of the season, but it is about an hour and a half drive to somewhere in Wisconsin that I have never heard of, so we are going to miss this one. He will ride with his team and not get home until almost midnight. Todd is playing in a softball tournament close to where I work this evening. SOOOOOOOO......we have arranged for Liv to spend the night with a friend. That means that I will stay in town and go with Todd to his game and later to the Waterfront to see Tab Benoit. My goodness! My husband and I get to spend the evening together.....alone???? (Well....without our kids anyway.....there will be LOTS of people around.) How crazy is THAT!!!!

I have all my ingredients for my salad for tomorrow and am looking at another busy weekend.
Everyone drive safely and watch out for the idiots!
We had a VERY rough night last night. Our younger kitty was not doing very well, so I scheduled her appointment with the vet yesterday, but had my hubby take her because I just knew it wasn't going to be good news. She had feline leukemia, and arrived at the vet in a critical state. They made the decision to end her suffering, and put her down. She was only 4 months old, and we have only had her for 2 months, it was very, very hard. My 6 year old had an extremely rough night, and cried himself to sleep, it was heartbreaking.
Today we are just hanging out around the house. I have to head out tonight to buy presents for my son's 4th birthday tomorrow. (Talk about last minute shopping! lol)
Take Care!
Mommy to Brandon (7), Colin (5), Alex (3), and Kelsey born 6/24/09!
