Good Morning, I am in a rush again today.Another day of training and meetings in Rock Falls. I am so happy this only happens 2-3 times a year. Driving 2 days 200 miles and sitting all day kills me.

Last night when I got home, I did hit the gaselle for 30 min. That got the kinks out.

Monica, my GD got hers on in July, she really hasn't had to much pain with them. Good luck on the job hunt.

Nancy, it will so nice to see you at Pauls on Saturday.

Gotta get going,

Hugs

Hey there honey!

Glad to see you, if only for a moment.  Congratulations on the promotion and getting rid of the bad boss.  Are you still working nights then?

We miss you, and hope to see more of (less) of you.  I am so happy that your losses have been so fantastic!  Send some of that my way, would ya?

In case I don't hear any more from you, you and Lucy have a GREAT time on that cruise!

Tell someone that you love them!

Good Morning everyone!
I did have my 3 month appointment with my surgeon yesterday, and I don't know how I felt about it? I don't know if it was because I had my son with me or what, but he just did not come off as being very friendly. Maybe he was having a bad day, or maybe I was reading into it too much? I was a little ticked right off the bat though, because I called in the morning to talk to the receptionist about my balance. I told her right away, that I did not have any money to put down yesterday, and she said that was fine. Then when I got there, they asked for payment, and she got snippy with me. I told her that was exactly the reason why I called in the morning, and she argued with me saying I never said that. I told her that was the first thing I asked, because I wasn't going to drive 45 minutes to just be turned away. She then walked away, told the other girl to give me an envelope, and if payment wasn't received within a week, then I would be sent to collections! Nice huh? I have never had a problem there, and everyone has always been so nice, so I was a bit thrown off yesterday. They also took in the lady who got there after me for her 1:30 appointment first. (Mine was at 1:15)
I guess I'll see how things go at my 6 month, and if I still feel uncomfortable, I will be looking for a new surgeon. How often do we need to see them after 6 months anyway?

Well, sorry for my vent, but I had to get that out. lol
Hope everyone has a great day, stay dry!

Nothing wrong about a good vent when you need it.  Healthier than keeping it bottled up

Have a good day!!

Jessy,

I had a very similiar experience with that office.  When I was first looking into WLS and didn't know my insurance didn't cover anything.  They were very friendly until they found out about the insurance problem.  Then it was like day and night.  To top it all off, they tried to charge me $300 for the initial informational meeting which lasted 10 minutes.  Dr. Haydari, who is located in Crystal Lake, is who I use now and he is great.  Lots of support and very reasonable prices.  I don't get treated like an income stream!  Plus, Centegra has an entire support structure in place, unlike Good Sheapered.
