Wednesday Roll Call

Good Morning IL family,

Today I am heading to my sister's house about 11:30 to get my neice off the bus for her first day of school.  My sister got a job as a teacher's aide at a different school in her district and is afraid that she won't make it home in time.  Other than that, nothing really planned.

Good morning all,

I love this cooler weather for sleeping. Last night was the first night in about a month that I felt like I got some good sleep. Went to bed at 10:30 and didn't wake up once till 5:30. I guess the exhaustion from  the family crisis helped me to do that at least.

I am looking forward to the get together at Paul's and Carla's visit. I need some distraction.

Christine do you ever sleep? I'm just not too motivated to be up sewing early in the morning.

Went to the support group meeting last night and met another new person. Her name is Wendi and I told her about this site for support. I hope to see her on here soon. Tonight I will be going to the gym and for a walk today. The weather has just been beautiful!

Come on - it was not that early that I was up. It was 4:45 and I stayed in bed 'til 5. And yes I do sleep. Ya all need to remember that we do not have any kids so I can do what I want when I want. Besides - Dawn is sometimes up at 4am and I think that is a little before me

Good Morning everyone! I am currently in panic mode, I *think* I have an appointment with my surgeon today, but I'm not sure??? I scheduled my 3 month when I was there for my 1 month, and I will be 3 months post-op tomorrow. I am now watching the clock and I will call at 9 when they open. I should really write these things on the calendar! I am one *****ally needs the reminder calls. lol

Other than that, we don't have anything going on today. My hubby is working tonight, so I have yet another night alone with the boys. He keeps talking about going back to school to find a new career path with better hours, I wish he would do it.

Good morning Christine and the rest of my Illinois friends!

I am working today and feeling better from whatever had me feeling icky.  I am glad, I hate feeling out of sorts.

I shopped last night for all my ingredients for my dish for Saturday, and I am looking forward to the visit.  It looks like there will be quite a crowd at Paul's!

After work, I need to get more first aid supplies for my clumsy one, then home to help her shop for new shoes.  I got them each two pairs from Eastbay at GREAT prices, and she is not sure that she "loves" one of her pairs.  SO, we are going to fire up the computer at home and show her what options she has for exchanges.  I have never dealt with Eastbay before, I hope the exchange goes smoothly.  Luckily, David loves both of his pairs and she liked one pair, so 3 out of 4 isn't too bad.  I actually think she likes the last pair, but she just wants to see what her choices are.

Besides that, I am looking forward to an evening with my family.  It feels like I have not seen much of them for the last few weeks.

Good Morning all!

I made another morning roll call.  Can you tell school is in session?  Although by now most of you have had a half a day.  I dont know how you all function so early in the morning!  Chris:  sewing when it is not even sun up?  You are wonder woman!  I agree, would love to see pics of the pillows and the new furniture!  Since you have been talking about it, I have been looking at some of our rooms and thinking....hmmmmm...what coould I do different?....hmmmmmm?   LOL!

Today is day 3 of school and day 2 of a full day for Noah.  School seems to be going well so far for him, then he loses it when he gets home, and we have had some very hard nights here for the past few weeks.  I have a call into the school counselor and to his doc to see if there is someting we can do for him, as I think it is time for a medication change.

It is another beautiful day, and Brigid and I are just going to hang out til it is time to get Noah at 2:50pm.

HiYall! In a few mins, I'm going with my husband to buy school supplies for Jeanine, Mark's daughter who just started high school. English is not his first language so I'm going to help him decipher the list of the items she dictated to him last night for school. I love his spelling, very original, -and phonetic! I got the directions to Paul's and think I will brave the drive by myself as Mark has to work in our store on weekends. It'll take about 1hr15mins on Northwest highway from where we live in the city. Sitting scrunched upright in a car is uncomfortable for me post-op but I've got to meet you all in person (party chat icons)

Think I'll swim today again. Happy day to you all, Ninabee
