Hang in there and let us know when you do have your surgery.  I hope hubby likes his new job.

Good Morning all!

I actually made it to a roll call in the morning!  Now that I really have to eat three meals and snacks and water etc.. I need to get started earlier.

Noah started 4th grade yesterday ( hurray) with a half day.  He desperately needed a haircut and since I was in the hospital we did not get it done before the first day.  My husband came home early to pick him up with us and we went out for lunch and then took him for a haircut.  Yes, I actually went out for a meal.  We went to a great local place that I knew at the very least would have chicken soup so I could have a little something with my family.  It worked out ok, they had a great chicken soup with really moist chicken in it, so I was able to chew it to death and "puree" it in my mouth before swallowing it, and they had sides of cottage cheese.  So that was my lunch and it felt good to be out and about some.  I took half of it all home so I have lunch for today.  Of course my daughter ate some of it too, cause she has to have whatever you are having, so we dont order her anything on her own anymore cause she likes the "buffet" idea of trying everyone's lunch.  She is a tiny thing so it is also cost effective!  I told my husband at lunch,  "See I'm a really cheap date now!"

We stopped at the party store to pick up invitations for Brigid's 2nd bday party on Sept 13th and went home.  I was sufficiently exhausted! Gone 3 hours and I was done for.

Today is full day of school for Noah, Jeff is at work, and it is just me and Brigid.  SHe is going to go down to the neighbors for awhile to play and I am going to try to venture to the store.  I know I wont have that much stamina so I am going to make a short list and get out.  I havent cooked for my family in awhile so I am going to try to think of something easy so they can stop eating take out. I LOVE to cook, am a Food Network freak, and havent cooked much this summer mostly due to 2 surgeries and liquid diets and now this flu thing.

We are looking forward to the weekend and the Meet and Greet.  Everyone seems so nice on the board and it will be great to meet you all!  This will be my first outing and it will be comforting to try it with people who have been thru the same thing and see how to handle a "party situation" where all kinds of food is served and you cant have much of it.  I used to Love me some party food!  Those days are in the past.

Well, time to shower and enjoy this beautiful day, it is great to have the windows open and fresh air coming in!

Have a great day!

Good morning Paul and my Illinois family!

It is a beautiful day out there once again. Already took Dunkin out and once I get caught up here I will go for a walk and notice nature. Not a lot going on today except the gym and support group tonight.

Just a few more days til the meet and greet! I can't wait!

Hope you all have a wonderful day!
