Good morning Paul and the rest of Illinois!

I am back at work today, still a bit tired but I felt that I could not waste another day sleeping.  I hope this lets up soon, it is kind of a pain.

Liv fell over the weekend and has terrible scrapes down both legs and the scap on her left knee is already infected.  I just don't know WHAT to do with her.  Hopefully, this clumsy stage will pass soon.  We had a horrible session last night with the peroxide, trying to get everything cleaned out.  I know how bad it stings, but it HAS to be cleaned.

We are hoping to be able to make it to your place on Saturday.  We have some relatives in town that I had not counted on, and lots of running to do, but I am pretty sure we are going to make it.  I am also hoping that Todd and the kids will be coming with me.  If so, David and Liv can help keep the smaller kids entertained.  If we are not able to come, I will let you know ASAP.

I'd better get back to cleaning off my desk.......

Yay!!  I am so glad that this is this weekend, the last 1 1/2 weeks have been tough on me with losing Shane and the kids going back to school and me still not having a job...can't wait to see everyone!

Newbie Nina, checking in! Gorgeous day already...I definitely will take a walk today. I've had a rough past few days trying new food that I then served up (seeSmiley). My RNY buddy  who lives in St louis helped me figure out what I did wrong and how to feel better afterwards. Eventhough she lives in another state, I'm so glad she returned my call to reassure me all was going to be okay. It sounds like you all have been at this for awhile but it's scary when food gets stuck for the first time and no one but WLSers can know what that feels like; my husband tries, but this rerouting of our anatomy definitely is a unique situation! Hi !!!               It is me Wendi, and I have been lurking again.  There is always so much to do and so little time.

Well, my DS started back to school yesterday so, it meant that over the weekend was spent on buying the last minute school supplies.  I still need to get a few things, and new shoes are one of them.  DD also started back to class at the College of Lake County, and she is now working full time so she now sees what it is like to be a real adult .  

As for me, I have working on the last of the odds and ends in boxes from our move.  Work has been busy, and my newest class on E-business is really interesting.  I have not really lost anymore weight, I have been stalled out at 167 now for the last couple of weeks, but I am sure I am loosing inches.  I am slowly getting back to my workout schedule and belly dancing class starts back up next week.  I apologize that I will not be able to make the get together this weekend as we have a surprise birthday party to attend.

So to all my friends out there, I am still around and to all our new friends welcome to the board, this is wonderful place to find the support you need.  Everyone have a good day!!!!

Good morning everyone.WoW what nice weather we have been having.I have been able to give my central air as well as my wallet from the electric bill a break by opening my windows.Have to watch it though because allergy season is upon me.Well my dh went for his orientation today at Walmart.The 1st day I have had to myself since my son went to live with his dad.It`s so peaceful,calm & quiet.Getting some much needed housework done today now that it`s only me here.I can`t wait till dh starts getting his paychecks so he can pay for me to join a fitness center here & buy me some smaller clothes.I have to be very careful though not to damage my already severe back problems.It goes out without any warning & seems like each time is worse.I`ve decided to go ahead and have back surgery to release the piched nerves.But that wont be for another 2 or 3 months.My weight loss has been rather slow,but only because of lack of excersize.I am down from 295 day of surgery to 275.8 this morning.But I have lost a total of 56 pounds since Feb.My back does not allow me to walk very much & walking isn`t going to help get rid of the hanging belly (left over from pregnency in 93)but I have been losing a lot of inches.I now only have 2 pr.pants that aren`t too big,3 pr shorts & my shirts are too big around the neck line & chest.The only place I havn`t lost much of the weight is in the belly.Everything else is smaller.All in all I am happy to just be losing.Everyone that see`s me definately notices a diiference because well,I`m wearing baggy clothes that don`t fit properly.And nothing is gonna fit right till I lose this belly.Anyway,I hope everyone is having a good day.It`s too nice of a day not to.Take care everyone.

Nahhh,my husband thought it would be a good idea to wait a year or two before we moved anywhere.He wanted to get a job here that he could be transfered to when we did move.Plus he wants to have his liscense & a vehicle.And he just got hired at Walmart!So now we are going to concentrate on getting some credit cards paid off & destroyed& meet our goals.He doesn`t think he will be able to handle the humidity in FL.with his Allergies .Plus I have seasonal allergies.So I,I,I I,,,  decided we will move to Bullhead city AZ/Laughlin Nevada where I use to live back in the 80`s & he`s 0k with that.As for the back pain I can`t believe I`m going to do this back surgery thing after fighting the Doctors about it for 14-15 years,but you can only go so long before you reach the point of nothing else helping & I have reached that point.These pinched nerves,the buldging disk,herniated disks ect. have taken their tole.
