Carla I am sure you are sick of rain.  How much have you had?  I know Florida needed rain but I think you all got too much of a good thing. 

Well it is the beginning of another week of work.  But it is ending in a 3 day weekend    It looks to be a week of beautiful weather so I will definitely take it. 

No special plans for the week but am looking forward to the meet and greet on Saturday.

Hi, Carla Chiming in again!!!!!
I had a crappy day at work. My coworkerup adn quit this afternoon!!!!! I was crazy the rest of the afternoon. Revamping the schedule!!!!! But all is good.
Guess What I am going to be at the meet and greet!!!! I am comming with Paulette. I fly in on Friday after and will go home on Sunday!!!!!
After the day I had I said screw it all for the weekend and baught a ticket with my American express points. I only had to pay the taxes of 68.00 round trip.
I am so excitedto be meeting you all finally.
I am aslo going to surprize my kid at her work!!!!!

Good Morning Carla and All of Illinois.

I need to get going and get ready for work, but............this is alot more fun.Today starts back to work for the fall season. I will be working at least 4 days a wee****il June rolls around again. The paychecks will look good again.

I just finished a cup of decafe, chocolate mint. Not as good as Starbucks, but a heck of alot cheaper. I am planning on taking a cup to work wth me also.

Yesterday I made this awsome roast for dinner. Medium rare, just the way I love it, well, it didn't like me. I will learn to stay away from beef!

It is going to be a great day today. Actually, if it wasn't for the pool, I could live with 80' and no humidity year round.

Ok, I am off to make myself presentable for work, I think i will wear long pants today, so i can wear my new Birkies that I bough t on vacation this summer.

I had a pretty laid back weekend, so now it's time to prepare for Labor Day weekend.  Lot's of baking to do!
Make sure that you check yesterday's Suntimes for the Illinois State Money to see if you are are due any money.  I found my daughter's name listed.  If your name is listed you have at least $100.00 that is owed to you!  She needs to fill out some paperwork to see how much she is due. You just never know!!  Hope that everyone has a great day.

Good Morning Everyone!  This weekend just flew by.  We got the new pool table on Friday and also the ping pong top for it.  So we will have that available for the party on Saturday!  I sure am rusty at ping pong, but I got to sweat off lots of calories!  We ended up going to visit my father-in-law (who gave us the pool table) up in Wisconsin.  It will be sad to see the big house he lives in, go by by, but that's the way of things.  Last night was the cub scouts comittee meeting.  It's hard to believe that summer is almost over already.  I will post a seperate entry to list all the food that people have said they are bringing.  Have a great day!  Paul

Good Morning Carla and my IL family

The sun is starting to shine here and I am up and ready to go....where you ask?  well okay no where, but I am ready!  LOL

I just sent my firstborn "baby" off to high school this morning and it makes me sad in a way.  It seems like just yesterday I sent him off to Kindergarten on that big yellow bus.  He will do just fine I am sure.  He's in all Honors classes and as electives he took Spanish 2 and World History.  He will have heavy load for sure.  Jacob starts 7th grade and Austyn starts 5th grade and he's the one I worry about the most, but really his dad needs to step up and worry more than he does.  Life doesn't get any easier as they get older. 

Anywho, I am still job hunting and now that the kids are going back to school, I really need a job.  I will be getting an application for the big Animal Hospital that is hiring in Aurora today.  I have handed in a bunch of apps, but nothing yet.  Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Other than that I will be watching my neice while my sister has a Dr's appt and that's it for today
