Barry, no that is not dumping. Dumping can happen to a PO RNY patient after eating too much sugar or fat.  Are you still on a full liquid die****ER IN = WATER OUT. The horrible taste in your mouth is a result of ketosis, your body burning excess fat for fuel. It may take a long time for that to go away. Black tongue can be caused by having an overgrowth bacteria or yeast on tongue. It can also be caused by taking Pepto-Bismol.

Barry, I remember having a bad taste in my mouth for like 2 weeks, but the black tongue... I don't know about that???

Today is filled with more back to school shopping for us, cleaning the house, a birthday lunch with the grandparents for the boys, then my Tastefully Simple party tonight. Old Navy has their jeans on sale today $12 for adults, and $7 for kids!! We are hoping to be there when the doors open! lol

Good morning to all,
Not much going on this weekend.  My DH and I are going up to our cottage in Antioch to prepare for Labor Day weekend.  All our kids, grandbabies and nieces and nephews come up for a long weekend.  That means alot cleaning, preparing and cooking for me!  I usually enjoy it, that is if everyone helps me during the day and keeps their drinking under control.  Hope that everone enjoys their weekend.

Slept a little later than normal today....tossed and turned for  awhile before actually being able to fall asleep. Not much on the agenda this weekend...shopping.....DH is working today....don't know when he'll be home....

Good morning friends!

Well the Olympics are ruining my sleep but it will be over soon and I'll be back to normal. I spent two days at the Stitches convention in Schaumburg--it was fabulous. I learned a couple of new techniques and spent way too much money on yarn. The sale area was about the size of Lowe's if you can imagine that much yarn! It was amazing! I did fine with food except for a turkey club where I only ate the turkey. I guess poultry in any form needs to be off my list. This was shredded and it still wouldn't stay down. Oh well. I probably walked off what ever did stay down. The hotel was gigantic!

I'm off to knit with some friends this morning. What a surprise!

Sounds like it was a fantastic convention and a knitters dream!  Glad you had a good time!  You probably have enough projects to keep you happy for awhile. 

I am here. Barely.  I am not having such a good day to day with the bipolar.  I have been in a blah mood all day.
