Good Saturday Morning Illinois Friends!

Well I am up and at em this morning!  I have my class to teach today and have to be at the college around 7:15.  Stopped in here to check out the boards while I ate breakfast and to catch up on what happened overnight. 

It sounds like it will be another nice weekend.  We got some much needed rain on Thursday night.  Did not need to water my flowers so that was a plus.  I always love it when mother nature decides to do that job for me. 

I will be done with my class and home by 1pm so I will have the rest of the weekend for me.  That leaves the lovely weekend tasks of grocery shopping and errands etc. 

Made another batch of strawberry ice cream last night.  Had some for breakfast.  I have decided this is my favorite flavor.  Made some Kahlua the other day and peanut butter, chocolate, banana but I keep coming back to the fresh fruit.  If you have not tried the protein ice cream you are really missing out!

Eileen, I hope the doctors are coming up with some answers for you.  Paul, I am looking forward to the meet and greet in a week.

Good morning Eileen and Illinois.

It's hard to believe that school is starting. My employee is starting college classes today.

I'm off to weigh****chers, then my Alexian support meeting and then driving to Michigan City and spending the rest of the day at the Blue Chip casino. I even got a suite to stay overnight for free. It's spacious and has a jacuzzi in the room and separate shower. Free to use bathrobes, a huge flat screen TV and view of the river.

YAY!! A fun weekend, Tomorrow a visit with my sister.

Yesterday, I saw the House Bunny movie. It was funny and cute. A typical movie for teenagers and young adults who like the college scenarios and of course, the playboy bunny theme. Those of you who watch the Girls Next Door will definitely enjoy this film. I just needed a chick flick to lighten up my day.  I just love this happy devil!

Good Morning Nancy and the rest of you Sleepy heads.

I am sitting here deciding on what chore to do first. I have a large list of things that I need to get done today, since I will be gone tomorrow.
Must dos include rscoloring my hair, making bbq, and  decluttering my third bedroom, also known as Moms craft room. I should finish the bushes I started trimming last weekend. Also plan supper for this evening and get things ready for work this week.

Can you believe? Labor Day is a week away! Where did summer go. DH is ready to close the pool, he said he was out of chemicals, and he doesn't want to store them over the winter. So, he won't buy anymore. I think its just an excuse to close it early.

Well I am looking at the sky and it looks like rain today. The sun comes in and out. But that is ok cause Ill be at work.
Eileen I hope you are feeling better.
I had a colonsocopy yesterday and all is well.
I am trying to come for the gettogether on Saturday. Ill look at the fares again today.
My sister fell and broke her knee cap and is in a cast. She was carrying down some stuff from the upstairs and missed her last step and fell. an ambulance ride to the hospital and boom a cast!!!!!
So maybe a trip will have to be.

I have a busy day planned, but am not sure how much I can do.  I have to find a new apartment by next weekend as I was just told I have to move at the end of the month.  Should be interesting cuz I live alone and can't lift anything since I am only 10 days out from surgery....

I do have 2 questions - I am still having diarrhea regularly ( is this called dumping???).

I also have a black tongue and horrible taste in my mouth,  Any ideas?

Darlin'- vou've had nothing but liquids so ergo it's lquid on the back end.  I had a tinny taste-it went away, but the tongue I'm not so sure. You might want to call your Dr. and run that and the loose stool by him for piece of mind.  No Dr. will mind -it's always to be safe than sorry-have a great week-end-Hugs-Janet K

You have got to be kidding!  Find an apartment and move withing a week????  I hope you have lots of friends to do the packing and moving.  Don't hurt yourself by trying to do any of the lifting.  Can we say hernia???  Good luck!
