Good Morning Christine and all,

Christine, wish I could transfer some tomatoes to you over the computer. Dh picked two full collanders yesterday of Romas  and one full collander of grape tomatoes. I still have a ton in the kitchen from the day before. I'll have to make some sauce from the Romas and share the grape tomatoes with my daughter and neighbors.  Earl said this years crop reminds him of the never ending zucchinis LOL!!!

I'm waiting for the fridge repair guy to get here so I can hopefully go grocery shopping afterwards and get back in time before I have to leave for the Endo appt. Today I get the results from my Thyroid Biopsy. I still have discomfort in my neck, throat and ear since the biopsy. So I'll have to mention that too. I called  the Pulmo office yesterday but they didn;t have the results from my sleep study said the results will go to my PCP?? He is off on Wed so will call there this am to see what it says if they have it yet.  I did get my ENT appt moved up from Oct 16th to Sept 5th.

Good morning everyone.  Today is my 1 week follow up and I can't wait.  I will be able to EAT something finally.  I don't think Oatmeal or Cream of Wheat has ever sounded so good.  I will also hopefully be able to start driving again. 

I am sure it is a long time ago for many of you, but do you recall feeling bloated at the beginning?  It seems like it is harder to put my pants on now than it was before surgery

Once you make your ticker on ticker factory.com then you click on it and paste it into your signature area. Hope this helps.

Barry, I do not remember feeling bloated but I remember my husband telling me over and over that he felt that way and could not get anything in to eat or drink. It will go away, I promise you.

Did you have open or laprascopic gastric bypass?  I had open so I do not recall feeling that way but I know my husband had laprascopic lap band and fealt that way so if you had laprascopic it could be the air they fill you up with?  I don't know but like Chris said.. this too shal pass.

Barry, I don't remember that in the beginning, but I wore elastic waist pants every day for the first week or so because of the drain. lol
I would make sense though, since you are only on fluids

Nothing fun going on here today. Babysitting, speech therapy for my 2 year old, then hanging out with the boys tonight since my hubby is working. I can't believe it's already Thursday!

Speaking of sleeping in, I got to sleep until 8am this morning! I don't know when the last time that happened was. It was nice.

Good Afternoon my IL family,

Christine, I wish I had 1/2 the talent you do with crafty stuff, but in my family, my sister got it all!  LOL

Today has been crazy already...well it actually started last night about 1am, when Tyler came into my bedroom and woke me up saying his chest hurt and he was in pain.  He took his inhaler and then sat by my bed for a bit.  I was ready to take him to the ER but he wanted to try and sleep, so he did under the pretense that if he started to feel worse he would come and get me.  Of course I didn't sleep well after that listening for him...this morning he felt fine, however he has decided not to suit up for football today because his chest is starting to feel a little tight again.  I think a trip to the Dr is going to be in order soon for him.  Anyway, this morning he had to have bloodwork done for his Accutane visit which is in about an hour and we also had a orthodontist consult for him at 10am and he will be getting braces on next Friday..he is SO excited...lol

After the Derm appt, I will take him to football and then at 5:30 pick him up again....man the gas stations are making their money off of me today!

Good afternoon Christine and the rest of Illinois!

I am here, just been really busy today.  That is a GOOD thing!  I also slept a little later than usual due to being up so late (11:45) last night after making lemonade.  David and Todd will do that tonight so I can catch up on my rest.

My grand daughter is coming out for the whole weekend starting tomorrow!  Her and I will go to David and Liv's scrimmage games tomorrow night as Todd has softball.  Saturday will be busy for David as he has full-pad practice in the morning, lemonade in the afternoon and they are going to a minor league baseball game in the evening.  I will stay home with Riley as I would rather chase her around Rock City than at the ball park.

I don't know what else is planned at this point.
