Thursday Roll Call

Good morning one and all, welcome to the daily roll call. Man, there has been a ton of new members showing up welcome.  I love sharing life with others especially with a part of my life that I am so passionate about, my WLS.

I mentioned the woes of my tomato plants yesterday to a couple of you on the board. My sister gave me info on what to Google regarding tomato problems. It is in my e-mail at work. I will get it on here later today.

Well, got my trim for the pillows in the form of matching tassels. The trim by the yard is PRICEY - starting at about 10 bucks a yard. No wonder some of those pillows ready made are so expensive.

I have another meeting outside the department today at South Barrington PD. Hopefully this one will not be as boring as yesterday's. Also the building we were in is an old Tollway building being rented by the county and the AC hardly worked in the room. Boring + warm = making you sleepy.


Managed to "sleep in" until 445 today. Need to make my java and get moving    so long.

Good morning Christine and Illinois

Well I am up and hopefully going to work today.  Yesterday as I was getting ready for work, I leaned over to pick up something off the floor and pulled a muscle in my back.  Ouch!  There was no way I could sit at a computer all day.  Instead, I curled up with a massager and heat and have the majority of it worked out so today I hope it wont bother me.  I did have a couple of naps which felt wonderful!  I need to go to bed earlier at night and somehow I dont make it -- always get side tracked. 

Paul, I am looking forward to the gathering at your place on the 30th.  It will be fun to meet people finally.

Good morning! Man, you are crafty, Christine! If I need a pillow, I go to Target and thank my lucky stars that I can find something!

Still have yucky cold here. Seeing my doc today for my 6-month labs and will ask to be put out of my misery.

Good morning Christine. I hear you about being passionate about your WLS lifestyle. I will feel that way again soon.

Everything seems pricey these days. I slept later too, until 5:30 this morning. Now I am enjoying my coffee at work while it's quiet here.

I have a busy day at work today. 3 meetings and heavy duty ones. Yikes, can you say weekend??

Nicolle, I hope your cold gets better soon. Nothing like a nasty summer cold.

Nancy, take care of your pulled back. Ouch, that hurts!

Good Morning !
I could not sleep was up till 3am went to bed then got back up at 5am! I decided to stay up since tomorrow we start back to school. I will need to get into the routine of getting up early. Taking my second grader grandson to the dentist today since the state has decided to require a dental physical. He had one for kindergarten. I think its stupid but as they say can't fight city hall!
My daughter has been having some post partem depression. Forgive spelling I do have lots of errors in that field! LOL
Anyway I have had a week from H$$l!
Hopefully things are going in the right direction for now!!!

On a lighter note I am going tomorrow for a pedicure my first. My heels are so dry this yr that I decided to go get pampered for a change. I seen how its done the other day when I went in for a nail appointment and I fell in love with how they rub down the lower legs and I said I need that! So school gets out the first day at 11:30, should have all the kids that ride my bus home by 12:30 and I will have my feet soaking by 2pm. 
"Calgon take me away"! 

I sure wish I could attend Pauls meet & greet but as usuall ya all know 180 miles is just a bit far. So I will be there in spirit.!

Good Morning, After working yesterday morning, and going to Bloomington after, it made for a long day.

Today, I have to take my van in, its making a humming sound, then home to dig in a bit. I will be going back to Bloomington later this week, to help my DD. She was released from the hospital yesterday, and she is feeling better already. The Dr, said to give it a couple of weeks, and she should be raring to go.

I was up at 5 this morning, so I have gotten some of the house picked up. Yes, I had mt java too.

Good morning to all,
I'm still trying to get myself together.  Yesterday I just laid around all day.  I can feel myself getting more depressed.  I really need to get out of this funk.  So today I plan to clean my house and get outside for some fresh air.  Christine, there are some coupons for Joanne's on a website called mom's view.  I think that there is one for 20 or 40% off of one item.  Check it out.  Go to this weeks coupons.  It's a great site for a lot stores.  I'm sure that you are going to love your 1st pedicure!!  Hopefully they have the full body massage chairs, I never want to get off.  Lisa, I'm glad to hear that your daughter is out of the hospital and feeling better.  Paul, I wish I could get away for your bbq, it sounds like you guys are going to have a blast.  Welcome to all new members and I hope that you all have a great day!

Good morning Christine and Illinois!

I got my directions from mapquest to Pauls yesterday...can't wait to see everyone again and to meet those of you I haven't met. Not too much going on around here....gym tonight and I'm looking forwqard to it. Just found out last night that my son and his family will be coming to visit in September. I can't wait! It feels like I haven't seen them in forever....it will be three months from our visit at his house. Oh, well...I must clean the house and get prescriptions for my husband today.....
