Just curious, are there any ppl here on this forum that have had either a revision to the sleeve or the DS here in Illinois??

There is a woman in my support group who had the sleave done up at Centegra in Woodstock. I'll probably be seeing her at group on Saturday morning if you would like me to put her in touch with you.

Yes! It is Dr. Heydari. I know he's done a bunch in the last year. I would highly suggest that if anyone is looking into WLS and needs a surgeon, they look at him.

I had the DS, but I did it in San Francisco with Dr. Rabkin. He does come to Chicago monthly for a newbie session and a support group meeting. If you'd like more info, please PM me.

Also, please visit the DS forum here on OH. There are lots of people who have had he DS with Drs. Alverdy and Prachand at the U of C. I'm sure they would respond to your post there.

who was your doctor there? Also, do you recommend going there? Just wanting to know your opinion now that you have revised....would you do it all over again to the DS?

Dr. Prachand, and yes I do recommend going there. I have only one regret. Why wasn't this available back in '76 when I had my stomach stapled ? I could have had 30 years of better living. Would I do it all over again? YOU BET YOUR SWEET BIPPY I WOULD.
