Wednesday Roll Call

Good morning everybody!  Christine, I hear you with the early morning wake up!  I get that every so often.  I think it's a by-product of the WLS.  It never use to happen before.  I apologize to everybody who is waiting for directions to my home for the party on the 30th.  I was swamped yesterday and never got the email off.  I am going to try and get it done today.  I will also tally up all the food that people have told me they are bringing and post that so the rest of you can decide what you want to bring.  I'm really very excited about seeing all of you.  And as I mentioned yesterday, we are getting a full sized pool table and ping pong top this week, so there will be additional activities for those who are so inclined!  I'm not sure what I'm going to make yet, but whatever it is, I'll make it extra yummy!  Paul

I am here.  I have managed to make it to Walgreens to get iron but they did not have the one I was looking for.  I guess I will be going to Wally World later today.  I am just in the blahs still.  I hope this mood changes soon.

Take care all.

Tina, you will get relief in the form of the iron but it will take a while for it to get into your system. Chin up girl you will be back on your feet again.

LOL!! Your post cracked me up Christine! I too have a bridal shower this weekend, but I am not going to make it since I have a Tastefully Simple party to prepare for Saturday night. When are they getting married?

Today is the same as usual, babysitting, then the chiropractor, then back home to get dinner ready. I need to go grocery shopping some time this week, but I am not taking the 18 month old that I watch with me!

Hope all is well! Take Care everyone

Jessica, guess what Dave and I just decided I AM NOT GOING to the shower. I really do not want to even though the new grandma/groom's mom (Mary)  stood up in my wedding as one of my bridesmaids. (long story but she is four months younger then me. My mom and my oldest sister (about 20 years my senior) were having babies at the same time) Mary and I went to HS together. Like I said I am SO tired of my family having showers, weddings and kids b-day parties. I am not broke but am tired of going to these functions. The wedding is Sept 20th, remember SHOTGUN wedding she is preggo also. By the way they will not even miss me food wise at the party as I really do not even eat or drink that much. I have planned on mailing the gift card and sending an e-mail at the last minute.

Love Tastyfully Simple. Just made the Crazy Cucumber for a get together this last Sunday. Try the Bacon Bacon dip mix. There isn't even any bacon in it - it is all soy based for the bacon flavor.

After my reply to you, I was wondering how likely it would be that we were invited to the same shower. (But, I didn't think the bride to be was pregnant! lol) The wedding I am going to is September 19th. I will be giving my hubby most of my plate

I really like Tastefully Simple products, that is why I started selling them back in 2005 But, about a year after I started selling, I stopped using all but the spices. We have a really good product line up for the Fall Winter  catalog which starts on 9/7!

Well, it's good afternoon to everyone. I was so busy at work today and didn't get time to post.

Thanks to everyone for your support and advice. I sure need my friends right now!

Not much going on in my neighborhood; I'm seeing Dr. Crane again on Friday.

Hugs,
Lucy

Love you girl and you were missed and mentioned on many daily roll calls etc. I did not PM you because I figured you needed your space and you would come back when you would be able to.

PS - by the way boys and girls (espiecially girls) have you priced the cost of tassel trim or lace trim from a fabric store lately????? Man oh man - I opted for pretty tassels for the corners of the pillows instead of some type of trim that goes all the way around in the seam of the pillow. I spent about 16 dollars with tax for tassels for 4 pillows where as tassel trim would have cost at the minimum of $9.99 a yard.
