Good Morning All -
Not anything exciting happening in my world.  Same ole' stuff.  Still looking for a full time job and broke down and will start waiting tables at Bakers Square, diffrent location.  I told them I would try it and see if it's worth the time and money I will be spending on gas.  If it does not justify it, I'll move on to another establishment.
Just taking things a day at a time.

Have a great day everyone.

Good Morning my Il family

Paul, I am really looking forward to the meet and greet!

Today I have been busy already...had to contact the high school and let them know that someone stole Tyler's asthma inhaler right off the football field this morning.  It scares me because it is considered a controlled substance at his school and I don't want him getting in trouble.  Luckily I know the principal there...lol

I will be going to Walgreens later to pick up a new inhaler for Tyler and also some meds for the impetigo that he's got.  Where he got that from we don't know.  We went to the Dr yesterday and they forgot to put Tyler's name on the script so the pharm wouldn't fill it and by the time they got around to calling the office they were closed!  I also have to stop by the vet's and pick up more meds for Shane, though the vet and I don't think it will be more than a few days that he will still be with us.

Other than that, it's Mike's birthday today so we'll go to dinner when he gets home from work.  I have no idea where yet either...

I hope everyone has a wonderful day!

Monica

Good Evening all,

It is 6pm and I am getting ready to be discharged from the hospital.  I posted late last night because I was having trouble getting the post to take.  Probably due to the wireless access here.

I thought I would want to stay til tomorrow but I am so exhausted from all the interruptions that I think I can recover at home better.  I started to have my small meals yesterday and have done a little better with them today.  I am getting used to the eat every 2 hr thing.  It is kind of hard especially if you fall asleep right after you eat, and then dont wake up until after you were supposed to eat again.  I dont know how you all did it, I am doing my best.

When I get home I guess I get to advance to a full liquid diet so that will add a few more choices to my list.  I dont quite remember what that will entail but more variety might be nice.  I seem to be having 2 ounces of broth and 2 ounces of jello for a meal.  It still takes me a while sometimes to get all that down but I guess that is normal.

Staples came out today, not too bad really, the nurse was talking to me about other things and I asked her when she was going to take the staples out and she said " I already did".  So another thing checked off the list.  I still have a drain which is draining alot so I guess that stays in til I see Dr. Wallace next week.

I am looking forward to being at home in my own surroundings and being able to walk out on the deck if I want for a while and see my baby girl.  Noah, my 10 yr old, came and saw me yesterday and calls me a couple times a day.  Brigid, who is almost 23 months has been staying with a neighbor, who runs daycare out of her house, and whose daughters adore Brigid.  She is being spoiled rotten.  They take her everywhere with them which she loves.  They are going to help me with her until I can take care of her myself.  The youngest daughter, Susie, is in 7th grade, and is Brigid's second mommy, she has been taking care of her mostly.  I guess Brig is sleeping in her room in a port a crb and wakes up early and then Susie takes her in the bed with her and they snuggle til they decide to get up.  I think she has created a monster!!  Oh well, I dont care becasue I know she got a ton of love and attention while she was there.  She loves playing with the kids in the daytime that come for daycare.  It is good for her to get to know how to play well with others.  I think they willl keep her again tonite and then Susie said she will come and stay with us until we dont need her anymore.  What GREAT neighbors!  Really they are family, we owe them big!!

SO that is all the news for now, if anyone has any words of wisdom, I would love to hear about it.

Thanks for all your support and love!

Love,

Eileen

Good Night Everyone,

Thank you for all the suggestions on my previous message. You are GREAT!

I've been busy cleaning and packing. My house goes on the market tomorrow (Friday) I really do hope it sells fast but with the way the market is I really don't know.
