Tuesday Roll Call
Yesterday I went to see Dr. Guske. All is well. I did not need a fill since he was very happy with the weight lost this past month.
We did go to Ikea afterward. I had looked at a couple of lamps the last time I was there, and yesterday decided that yes, they would work where I wanted them. Now I just have to figure out how to put the shades together
. Today I will stay home, and work on projects around here. Plus do some laundry and general puckup. I need to take advantage of this week, since it will be back to work next week.
our local high school starts back today. I still feel it is way to early.
The dog days haven't even hit yet. I guess I am getting old. When we were in school, nobody dreamed of opening school before labor day,and we still got done by the 4th of June.
Chris, we have been to the Bristol Faire too. My girls both had the dresses that they would wear. I used to love their food and ate way to much.

Good Afternoon everyone!
Well here I am on the losers bench. I had my surgery yesterday at ABMC with Dr. Wallace. I had to be here at 5:30am and surgery was for 7:30am. All went well with the surgery, I only have one drain and a foley catheter. Iv's X3 plus an artline for checking blood gasses. THey discontinued the art line today. I have been having trouble with my blood sugars and blood pressure running very LOW. I havent gotton any rest because they are in here checking my BS and BP every hour even thru the night. My poor husband was sooo tired, he tried to sleep a little here but not too comfy. He was too worried to go home, he finally left at 2:30am. He is such a great guy. Very comforting and caring. I am sooooooooo lucky.
Dr.Wallace was just here and he is ordering my upper GI for tomorrow. SO ice chips it is.... who cares as long as I can have the ice, that is all I care abouy right now.nnn
I am still on oxygen as my saturations are low when I take it off and gettin breathing treatments every 4 hours, they seem to help. I am on the dilaudid pain pump which makes me very woozy and kind of drunk feeling. workd for the pain, but I am not the most coherant person talk to.
I will be here at least til Friday, if all goes as it should, they say. With the way I feel now, I am ok with that.
I am starting to lose it and need to get back to bed, I am going to call the nurse or pct and have them help me bnack to bed, hopefully to get some rest.
BTW, I love my Beri-Bear! Works gerat and is sooooo cute!

Welcome to the loser's bench! I am glad surgery went well. Sorry you are having trouble with your blood sugar and O2 sats. I can relate to the blood sugar tests. It drove me nuts to be awaken ever 2 hours to have a blood sugar test. It was so hard to go back to sleep. I was like "Leave me alone" Hope you start feeling better quickly and can ditch the oxygen and have the blood pressure stabilize. Take care of yourself.
