Hey Everyone

I hope your weekend was as great as mine...the weather was to die for  But most of the weekend I was working on getting ready to meet a couple of OH Goals I set for myself.  Getting back to the basics and back to working out more.  

There is no magic pill, no magic combo of foods and or lose 50 inches in 50 mins gimmic.  We are just going to get back to the basics and the rules we know and "LOVE"

Here is what I am doing:

Not drinking 30 mins before and after a meal
Water, Water, Water
Protein first, Protein first, Protein first
I am eating every 3 hours and again protein first for me, that way I won't be hungry
Journal, Journal, Journal
Make time for me
Exercise, exercise, exercise

Also, don't forget your supps!

Go to your profile page and hit goals and set what you want for your goal to be by the end of the month.  I am not going to set myself up to fail by trying to meet a number  I know if I eat the right things and exercise the clothes will tell the tell and I will feel so much better

So my friends are you with me?  Come on and let's just do it for the rest of the month.  You know it works, we all have done it and lose tons of weight and felt sooooo good about ourselves.  We can do it together

Did You Move To Lose and or Maintain Today?  Come on in and let's get our goals started.  Rocky and I walked this morning and I am going to the Y tonight after work and do some weights and cardio!

Hi Kathy!

I DID get up this morning and ride the stationary bike for 11 miles at an average of 23 mph.  That is an improvement over the average 18-20 mph I used to do.  The last mile is a cool down at 15-18 mph.  This all took about 35-40 minutes.

My goal will be to do this more often than not.  For example, at least 4 days per week--4 out of 7 is the majority.  I want to get back to doing the bike 3 days and doing strength work with the bands 2-3 days.

Did you say 23 mph?  HOLY MOLY  Either my bike speed thang doesn't work or I suck  The fastest it said was 13 mph...

Ok, you ROCK, what can I say

Keep it going and make sure you put your goals in your goal section so we can cheer you on!!

Basically, I maintained today. My work day on Monday's is brutal with paperwork due to my working for a police department - and since we are 24/7 . . . .  you fill in the blanks. Dave and I did - woohoo not gain on our trip to Chitown over the weekend as we walked a gazillion miles each day.

I did manage to get in 6,000 steps on the pedometer so far and the day is not over yet. I have things to do as we are having a new dishwasher installed tomorrow and things need to be taken out from under sink.

Need to get moving and get the rest of my 10,000 steps today.

You and Dawn both rock!!!  I made 42 trips to the printer and copier  today playing catch up at work so I feel like I climbed Everest!!  Even with both braces I am walking the dog each evening-our pace is slow-but we move!!!!  Eight lbs. gone since my fill 2 weeks ago!  Hugs-Janet K

That is awesome that you are getting out and moving.  Eight pounds is pretty cool too!
