approval process

  Can anyone tell me how long it takes medi-care to approve surgery after they receive the letter.

You don't need preapproval with Medicare.  If you have comorbidies they will pay for your surgery,

Check with your sugeon's office.  There should be no hold up if medicare is the primary payor.
