Good morning friends!

We had coffee on the patio this morning, despite having to find jackets to wear. It was lovely. We have dinner plans with friends later. I want to do some knitting and there is the general cleaning up to do after a week of unpacking. I am making progress with that. It's good to be back to normal and have normal food, although I loved what we had in Europe. Maybe being normal will kick in some more weight loss! It's time!

Good luck getting Eddie up and out today Janet, I hope he does it for your and his sake!

Today I have nothing planned other than to love on my boy Shane...he's not doing well at all and we are thinking it will be sometime this week that we have to let him go.  It's killing me, but it hurts more to see him in pain. 

Oh I do have to pick up Tyler and Jacob at their dad's later too.  lol  Tyler only  has Monday off and then it's double practices for football from Tuesday until school starts on the 25th.  It's crazy but he loves it

Monica, I'm sorry to hear about Shane.  That has to be awful.   I looked at your pics and he looks like he is a joy.   How old is he?

Thank you Susie, Shane just turned 6 in May, so he's still young.  The worse part for our family is that on Oct 5th it will be 2 years since we lost our 11 1/2 month old puppy to cancer as well.  So this is a blow to us.  He is a complete joy and even now while in pain he wants to play ball..though we can't let him for the risk of him breaking his leg.  He is my boy through and through.

I had a lazy day yesterday so I have to get moving today.  Need to go grocery shopping so I have food for this week and more protein ice cream supplies.  I wouldn't want to run out of those now would I?    My breakfast this morning was fresh Peach ice cream.  I have other errands to run today as well.  Hope everyone has a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather we have been having.  It is my kind of weather.
