Friday Roll Call
Good Morning my IL family!
Today my ex will be picking up Tyelr and Jacob around 12:30pm and then I will run to the Good Will store to see if I can find any size 16 pants!!! The 18's I bought a few weeks ago are getting big. I need to invest in a belt too. I then have to go and pick up my contacts, woohoo, I really need my new ones. It appears since surgery my eyes have gotten better, not worse....the Dr said that it's common after a major surgery like this. It's too bad the price doesn't go down for getting better! lol
This weekend there really isn't anything too much planned. I have a few people coming over to say goodbye to Shane tomorrow. It breaks my heart, but it's our breeder who had him the first 3 years of his life and some of her family who had fallen in love with him which is very easy to do. Sunday, nothing, just picking up the boys from my ex's in the afternoon.
I hope everyone enjoys the day/weekend, the weather is supposed to be gorgeous

I cant seem to get on here in the mornings. Today was a busy day cleaning, doing laundry, and getting the house in order so when Grandma comes to take care of Brigid, she can actually find things!
Then I took Noah for school shoes and new gym shoes so he is ready to go on the 25th. I ordered his school supplies 2 weeks ago online ( Love that program!!) and ordered his gym uniforms online today. He goes to a Catholic school so they wear uniforms. I just wanted to be ready in case I am not feeling well enough to do all that running around by then.
I got a call from Alexian Brothers tonite saying that my surgery was moved up. It was supposed to be Monday at 11:30am and now it is at 7:30am! Oh my, you all already know I am not a morning person. Well at least I am the first case and dont have to worry about getting there and having to wait if there are problems with the case before me. I probably wont sleep much Sunday night so I might as well go early. I am getting kind of anxious now, and just want it to be over!
Noah is going to stay with my dad, for the week starting on Sunday morning. They are very close! I adopted Noah as an infant from the NICU where I used to work. He was a premie who was drug exposed, alcohol exposed, she smoked and had no prenatal care. He was born at 27 weeks at 1 pound 7 ounces and I took care of him for 3 months in the NICU. DCFS did not have a home for him as he needed alot of medical care when he went home. I decided to be his foster mom and then within the year I adopted him when his "parents" and I use that term loosely, signed away their rites. I was a single mom at the time and my parents helped me out with watching him while I worked. My dad and Noah are best friends and they are both looking forward to spending time together.
My dad was diagnosed this year with pancreatic cancer and spent all of Feb and march in the hospital and had surgery in May. He has been very sick and there were many times we did not think he would make it. He has to have another surgery in November so this surgery for me is also to be more available to help him out. My mom died a year ago so we are his helpers. Noah missed seeing his grandpa very much so this is a good time for him. Thank God for Grandma's and Grandpa's!
So that is all the news for today, maybe too much news for one day, but thanks for listening!
See ya all tomorrow.
