Friday Roll Call

Good morning everyone in the great land of Lincoln. My java is brewing then I am going to get ready to leave for the Loop. We have lots of walking planned for the next three days and just plain enjoying being downtown. At 2 today we are taking a Segway tour. We did it last year and it was fantastic and easy to learn how to ride them.

good morning!!!

the segway tour sounds like so much fun!  enjoy!!!  i hope everyone has a really great weekend!!  its promisiing to be absoluetly BEAUTIFUL!  i can't wait!  we're doing something, no idea what just yet, but we're leaving home and going outside!  =)

next saturday is my husbands birthday and we're going to drop the kiddos off at their aunt & uncles house and have an entire evening/morning to ourselves!  i can't wait.  i brought really pretty dress last night, and guess what??  IT WAS AN 18!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  and it was amazing what i saw in the mirror with something that actually fit and showed off my newly emerging curves.  HOLY COW!  i was on cloud 9 for the rest of the night....still am now.  i'm nearly bursting at the seams because i can't tell hubby about it because he doesn't know about this part of the night.  =)  this is the motivation i needed to completely keep me going!!! =)

for my friday weigh-in, 255!!!  =) down 41 pounds now.  i hope everyone has a really great weekend!!!!!  get out and enjoy this weather!

Christine, the segway tour sounds like a blast!  What a wonderful way to tour a city. 

I am so glad that it is Friday.    It has been a loooong week for me.  I have not enjoyed my jot this week.  Customers have been really crabby and that makes me crabby lol.  I left work in tears last night.  It did not help that my computer acted up all day as well.  Two glorious days of nice weather and a relaxing weekend and I will be good to go again next Monday.  I do not like all of these raging hormones that come with the weight loss.  Can we say witchy?    Oh well, it can only get better.

Good morning Illinoisans! I'm getting past the jet lag and the mountain of mail and newspapers and starting to emerge as human again. I do love to travel, but it's a lot of work. Have been busy at work too and not much time to check the boards.

I'm looking forward to the beautiful weekend also. I hope everyone can enjoy it.

Goood Friday Morning to Everyone.

I am so glad that this weekend will be nice. It will make the siding job on a rental go so much better.

This morning I am picking up the house, a daily chore, then going to breakfast with a frind from grade school. I am also getting Morgan ready to go home this evening.

Yesterday we made Nancy's peach ice cream. It was great. She didn't know I had an ice cream maker, so now she wants to do more. Its a new playtoy for her. I am not sure if I have any surprises for her today.
WE also went finally to buy school clothes. I was shocked at how the prices have risen . Oh well, its less that her parents have to spend.
I understand how frustrating it is if you have kids in school, just to get them ready to go back,

Good morning Chris and the rest of Illinois!!!!

I am back from Vegas and we actually had a pretty good time.  I did not get a chance to meet up with Janet H though, and that was a bummer.  The problem with Vegas is that there is SOOOO much to do and so little time.  Since we were there for my neice's 21st birthday, she pretty much ruled what activities we did.  I CAN tell you that I danced on the bar at the "Hogs & Heifers Saloon" downtown and had a BLAST!!!!  That is something that I would NEVER have done 2 years ago!

The stripper class was a lot of fun, but they have changed their policy and now allow 40 people in that class at a time (it used to be limited to 12-15).  That is WAY too many people when there are only 12 poles.  It was fun and a bit informative, but there was really no time to practice, and it absolutely did not burn the promised 400 calories.  Most of the time was spent standing, sitting and watching the instructor.  I gues that is why it is also classified as a "show".  No worries.......Champagne Dawn is now a card-carrying stripper..........with pictures to prove it!

After work, I will stop for cat food and milk then home to enjoy the beautiful weekend with my whole family home at the same time!  (Liv also got home late last night from Georgia.)

Well, I am here at work and trying to get things accomplished.  It is too nice of a day to be stuck indoors.  This weekend with be finishing the unpacking from moving, picking up my son at the milwaukee airport, and stopping at woodman's in kenosha for some protein shakes that I like.
