Thursday Roll Call
Good morning all! Looks to be a great day in the northern part of the state. What a relief from the hot weather earlier in the week. I will be out the door soon for work. Want to get in early and finish up a couple of items before I take off tomorrow for Chi-town.
Dave will give tours at the 'Creek today to guests that are there for the Leadership Summit that we have every year in August. He will come home and we will sit and talk about our day over a snack in the evening. I just have a few things left to pack and we will hope Metra for the Loop early tomorrow morning.
Dave will no longer be a man of leisure after the 15th as he signed one of three contracts/offers that have come his way. He is still waiting for the one out of TX as is the other contract people that are to get one. That company's legal dept is real slow.

Good morning Illinois!
It looks to be a great day. Weather is going to be cooler -- Yeah!!! Can you tell I hate hot weather????
I am looking forward to the weekend already. It has been a hard time at work the last few weeks. I work in customer service and I swear we have had 2 weeks of a full moon. Nothing can make people happy. since that is not possible, it must be the heat. People are so crabby and those that are not crabby are a pain in the rear. I cant wait for things to settle down again soon.
Well one of my cats has decided to help me post so I have got to stop and pay him some attention or who knows what will be posted

I am heading to Downers Grove today to see my favorite Dr and staff. I will then stay to see what the PS has to say. I might just need his service in the next yr., I might need the tummy worked on! Who am I kidding I know I need it worked on!
Then when I get home on Friday I have to pack to go to Springfield overnight. My youngest is going to work with her boss from the printing co she works for at the St Fair. I am driving her down and thought since I have her kids we would stay one night with her since she will be gone for 8 or 9 days.

Congrats Dave on the new opportunitie. They don't come along fast enough.
Yesterday, Morgan and I made soap. Instead of doing the lye and fat mixture, since i wanted to keep her safe from burns if she happened to spill it, we melted castile soap peices, put some scent and color in, then poured them into bars. She was impressed that Gramma knew how to do something.
Today it is errands and a bit of cleaning. Then tomorrow morning I will be meeting an old friend from grade school, for breakfast and talk.
I can't believe one week of vacation is done. I have one more week, then I need to have off for my daughters surgery on the 18th.
