Peach Ice Cream

I thought I would share my peach ice cream recipe. 

1 1/2 c. soy milk
1 TBSP sugar free vanilla syrup (davinci or torriani)
1 tsp vanilla
2 scoops protein powder
2 fresh peaches

Combine milk, syrup, vanilla, protein powder and 1 peach chopped in a blender.  Blend until smooth.  Pour mixture in ice cream freezer and process.  Mine takes about 25 minutes.  5 Minutes before ice cream is done, add 1 peach chopped or sliced .  Freeze in containers.  Makes 3 servings.

I just made fresh strawberry tonight.  Yummmmm!  I took a pint of strawberries,  chopped up about half of them and used those with the milk mixture and then folded in remainder during the last 5 minutes.  Tastes wonderful! 

Both sound yummy!!   Need to get me an icecream maker, Its a good treat after a long hot day!

Oh both of those sounds good.I am looking for healthier recipes.Can I use the same amount of 1% milk in this recipe?

I am sure it would work to use the 1% milk.  I just find the soy milk tastes richer.  I used the 1% before I bought a 1/2 gallon of the soy to try it.  Both worked well.
