Question For all my Illinois Friends???

Liz and I have wanted to host the next gathering of the group, but we have been busy with traveling and what not and we just keep missing the boat.  But we just talked and looked at our calendar and thought we would see about Saturday the 30th of August.  We live in Cary and have a nice deck and yard that is great for parties.  My only concern is that it is Labor Day weekend.  So before we make it official, I thought I would post and see if it works for most.  Please let me know your thoughts over the next day or two and we'll make it official soon.  Thanks,  Paul

Hi Paul, the 30th would work for me. We have our family functions on Sun(31st) & Mon(1st). How far north is Cary?

I MIGHT be able to make it.  It depends on my family's choice of when to go to "On the Waterfront" in Rockford.  We have passes for the whole weekend, so it probably would not be a big deal for me to get away on Saturday.  Even if they can't/don't want to come, I might still sneak away to see you all.
"On the Waterfront" is usually pretty crowded and not my favorite thing to do.

At this time I want to say yes to the date. If Hubert can get off work that day we will be there.

I would love to meet all of you all, I will have to check DH's schedule.
