Thursday Roll Call

Our little "Skeeter", chihuhua mix, decided we should be up at 4 am this morning, don't know why. He is 7 and sleeps in his crate with pillow and blankie. He kept whining, so I let him out, went back to bed, 10 mins later he started whinning again, so Earl let him out. Same scenario till 4:45 at that point I decided I might as well go sit in the recliner. Skeeter ended up in my lap and we slept till 6! Go figure...he never acts like this. I can only think it is because I was gone a couple days and he is mama's baby boy! LOL!!
We are meeting friends for lunch in Indiana today at the Mongolian BBQ, haven't seen them in a month, how time flys.
Carla and I had such a good time on our trip, although I had too little sleep and was draggin all day yesterday, feel much better today. Carla is the energizer bunny, she is go-go-go, I don't know how she does it, she & I are the same age, except of course she is so tiny after being so successful with her wls. I hope that I get all that energy after I have my surgery. I have more energy now thatn I did 45 pounds ago, but I still get to the point that when i sit down I crash!!
Hope you all have a great day. Paulette

Happy that you are getting in to see the docs. Let us know how it all goes.

Good Morning Chris and the rest of my IL family,
Today is the last football day until Aug 12th, then the "real" practices start. Tyler will be going from 7am until 2:30pm with a one hour break for lunch in there. Seems like a lot to me, but he says, "it's high school mom" lol Jacob and I have eye dr appts this afternoon, which I can't wait for becuase my contacts have had it. I think my eyes changed since surgery...or at least they get dry a lot faster. I will probably get new glasses too then.
Other than that, nothing going on. Tomorrow morning Austyn is having surgery to have his tonsils removed, please keep him in your thoughts that everything goes well. He's SUCH a baby when it comes to the slightest bit of pain, so the next week could be very interesting around here. This weekend is also North Aurora Days so I will be out and about most of the weekend too. Mike can take care of his son.
Have a great day everyone and stay cool!
Chrisine tell Dave have a Happy Birthday and I am glad he is still with us!
My grandson thats 7 lost his fourth tooth yesterday and at 3 am I had to get up and find the tooth and replace it for the tooth fairy...He stated this morning OMG the fairy brings more money to gmas then at dads...I just said it must be the start of her route so she had more money!!! I forgot to ask mom what she brings!! Oh well he believes all we still tell him!!!
I think my band isn't fond of this weather either I think I am tighter then I was and the weight loss has STOPPED for the last month... No gain so I will am happy with that fact!! A loss would be better!!
Well stay cool and enjoy your day!!!

It seem like everyone is very busy with their summer happenings as are we. Tonite is our last supper pizza party, although it is starting to rain, so I guess it will be inside. That's ok, it is the company not place that is important.
Today is straightening up and catching up on clerical duties, (ie: bills, emails etc,,,).
Tomorrow my son, Noah, is going to his first CUBS game with my dad and the two girls down the block that babysit for us. They are ALL huge cubs fans. This will be noah's first visit to Wrigley Field, I wish I o could be the one to take him, but having my dad do it is better. Noah and him have a great bond! Someday I will write how Noah came into my life, as a gift from God. Even though there are some really tough days with him, he is a blessing everyday and has brought so much Joy to my life.
So off to pick up toys and vaccum etc... Have a great day!
