Thursday Roll Call

Good morning everyone in Lincoln Land. Anything special going on in your world today  I woke up a little early, got my coffee going and am about to jump into the shower. I need to drive to work today due to having a circuit clerk meeting at 3pm.  I also need to take fresh uniforms to my locker and a couple extra cases of water. I hate having to take my car out of the garage - I can be pretty cheap sometimes.

Well, need to and get moving.

Good Moning Christine and Illinois friends!  It is almost Friday!  Yea -- Cant wait for the weekend and some sleep.  Today at work they are going to have a carnival for the employees plus a cookout.  There will be games to play, a dunk tank with the supervisors "volunteering" to be the dunkees, hot dogs, corn on the cob, etc.  Should be a fun break time at work.  We have never done this before.  Hope the weather is halfway decent as this is outside.  Have a good one today. 

I would say that everyone would want to volunteer for the dunk tank considering what the temp is outside.

Has anyone heard from Lucy? It doesn't seem right for her to just drop out of sight for this long.

I have errands to run this morning, then home to pick up the house and work on my newest rug. Since I have gone to Wallmart twice in the last 2 days, and spent way to much, I will not be shopping anywhere but the grocery store.

Tomorrow I need to drive to Bloomington and watch my DGD in the morning and take her to a swim party tomorrow afternoon. Then Saturday, I am going up to Batavia for my other DD's  family work outing. Then... I will have my GD for the next week.
I think me is going to be busy.

As usual, you are very busy Chris.  Sometimes a car comes in handy......it would be kind of hard to carry a case of water on your bike!  hehehehe

I'm just working today then home to get Liv ready for her trip.  Last night, she went to a swimming party and her swimming suit ripped, so we had an emergency trip to Wal-Mart to replace it.  I am officially tired of shopping, kind of like Lisa.

I am waiting to hear back from the school about David's schedule "change", since he is absolutely "done with Band".  I am hating this whole situation because I feel that I have been manipulated by this teacher and now I am the one who looks crazy.  I just hate being the mom who is always calling, writing and complaining.  On the other hand, I have to do what is right for my kids, and if that means I need to fight every inch of the way, I will.  It is just SO tiring.  I don't understand why it has to be so HARD to send my kids to school---PUBLIC school, no less.

Enough of that.......I wish everyone a lovely day and stay cool!

Well, the cases (3) of water would have been difficult on the bike. Driving today has its advantages due to the fact that I need to take two boxes to the resale shop to donate, get a b-day card for my b-day boy and then to the meeting.

I am not sure what to tell you regarding David and this so called teacher. I do feel that it should be documented with the school board. Small town politics stinks. Dave read over your post yesterday but has not given me any input yet.

I know there was a time that the doctors told him he may not see tomorrow.......

It was age 60 he was told he would not see and that was last year. Anyways - he would not have seen 61 either.
